Tuesday 3/23/21 — DT Wild Strawberry. Had a 2 oz foil bag that I finished by – surprise surprise – making this a cold brew last week not sure when.. finished the last of this today. I enjoy this one, I do like fruity teas but I like that it has the rosemary in it. I don’t know if I can pick it out as a distinct flavor while sipping [I need to smell/taste rosemary plain], but it does seem to balance the strawberry. I will enjoy the 432904092834 I have left in my stash. (TBH I am not sure how much I have of this one in my stash and I don’t know where it is but probably in a plastic bin full of tea in the basement)

Mon 3/22/21 — Stash Cranberry Pomegranate. 2 teabags. Sometimes you need something easy going when you are at work.. (and this comes from someone that keeps a metal strainer, few tins of tea, etc. in their locker + carries a large bag full of teas, paper filters, etc. to work) I enjoy Stash tea but this has a fine non-descript fruity taste.

Mon 3/22/21 — Bird and Blend (back when they were Bluebird) Earl’s Paradise. When I get 20-gram samples from this company (they are very generous with samples whether requested or not, but I’ve been buying from this company since 2016(?) so I have a large collection of their teas) I use them for a cold brew pitcher. I am not an earl grey fan but this one is nice enough. Not something I’d keep on hand, but I enjoyed the pitcher the last few days. I did kind of gulp last third of pitcher down before work just to get pitcher empty for next tea inside.

Fri 3/19/21? (WRITTEN 3/21/21) — The NecessiTeas Coconut Macaroon. So, I really enjoy DT Coconut Macaroon, which is a tea I haven’t had in years as I’ve been sipping other teas and I have some on the way (B2G1) but I remembered I had this in my #drinkwhatyouown bag from previous months I hadn’t finished yet. I brewed the entire sample packet in hot water in my trusty DT tumbler but ended up drinking it cold. It has a nice taste but seems a little.. not watery, but thin? I don’t know how to describe it.. perhaps it was just user error. &shrug& I’d like to get a bag of this in my next order (which won’t be anytime soon, so much tea in my stash + so many other companies I want to try or re-order from) or get a sample again from a tea friend.

Thurs 3/18/21 (WRITTEN 3/22/21) — -DT Candy Cane Crush 2 sachets hot/plain at work. It’s funny when this tea came out it was all like Team Santa’s Secret and Team Candy Cane Crush (and also Team Sleigh Ride).. and I like both of those teas for different reasons. I have this tea [CCC] in so many different forms, tins, mini bags, sachets… this is easy if I wanted to have something quick to sip on that I know will be comforting/familiar.

Thurs 3/18/21 (WRITTEN 3/22) — -DT Green Passionfruit pitcher pack. On 3/17 I started Round 2 of my March Tea Madness…on the Fruity Cold-Brew side one of my brackets is DT Green Passionfruit vs. DT Lime Gelato (both older). Green Passionfruit is a nice tea, but the PP was older and opened (hopefully just by me and not by the pesky mouse I had in old apartment in 2020) and it just did not come out in this cold brew. Finished both pitchers 3/18 but DT Lime Gelato is a tin of opened tea so no log for that.

Weds 3/17/21 (WRITTEN 3/21) — DavidsTea Just Beet it. Back when this tea came out with the orchard collection in fall of 2017 (?) there was a 12 piece sampler set with mini tins (enough for one hot cuppa) that I got a few as GWP. Made a quick hot & plain cuppa with the little tin of this tin. I just kind of gulped it down so I don’t remember if it was still as tasty as I remember?? In past when this tea came out, I was loving it, but it’s been a while and now I have it collecting in pitcher packs, tins, bags, etc. so, I’ll have plenty of opportunity to know for sure.

Weds 3/17/21 (WRITTEN 3/21/21) — Vahdam green tea /2 sachets. Have 4 of these from an old sipsby box. Drank 2 of them hot & plain last week then cold-brewed them in a 20 oz glass jar. Nothing special to make me remember this in a good or bad way so not going to be something I get after finishing but wasn’t like oh this is terrible.

Mon 3/15/21 (WRITTEN 3/18/21) — Glenburn Green Tea Bag (1) — Got this as a sample from the Virtual International Tea Festival box of goodies from last fall. Had it hot & plain, 12 oz mug in the evening with dinner & TV time with Micah. Was fine enough-need to keep notes if there is anything memorable when I’m sipping on stuff, but at this point I’m often just trying to gulp and go.

Sat 3/13/21 (WRITTEN 3/18/21) — Miracle Tree Mango Moringa (2 teabags) So same as my note for B&B Mulled Cider. At the hotel 3/12 and steeped this in warm water from the lobby container. Unlike that one this one made with two teabags actually turned out okay when I drank it 3/13. I don’t know what moringa is supposed to taste like thought. I had 4 teabags in total come in a sipsby box awhile ago, so I still need to get the other two sipped down to have this tea out of my collection.
