Friday 3/5 so I’m not sure I have a go to tea or favorite to relax/unwind because I drink all of my teas whatever mood I’m in. Also I’ve been drinking some teas that are in larger quantities but I still need to sip on smaller amounts to make me feel better about my numbers especially when I have a high goal number for March.

Anyway I can say green tea is a fave tea type but this cup was just steeped in 10 oz water and nothing to write home about. No fruity taste came from this older sample and wasn’t a tasty base either.

Wednesday 3/3 — Another longer day with work as I came in a little early and learned some basic tasks in another department (1230-3) before my 3-11 shift. Needed something hot/warm & tisane (because I have 7a-3p Thurs 3/4) towards the end of my day so I pulled this out of my bag (2 teabags) and this answered the call. Not “the best tea ever” but I enjoy when I do grab a box of this for something easy and fruity.

Tuesday 3/2 found this open but full 2 oz bag last week. Tried making a hot and plain mug for myself and didn’t care for it. made the last of this for a cold brew pitcher for Micah. I like the idea of this tea and I’m sure there is more of this somewhere with my winter holiday tea bin but it gone for this bit.

Tuesday 3/2 This is cheating kind of since I normally just count my teabags/loose leaf tea, not drinks but this is a bottled tea drink. I don’t drink much kombucha but I bought a bunch lately so my boyfriend and I could try different flavors and use the glass bottles for the homemade ones we are making in last few months. I enjoyed the grape flavor of this one, can’t say I tasted black currant.. would buy this again if I wanted bottled kombucha.

Tuesday 3/2 Another tea I pulled out 3/1 and ended up drinking 3/2. Brewed this hot with the full sample pack in 32 oz water (3/1) and then sipped it cold/chilled the next day (3/2). I love anything cranberry, so I had high hopes for this tea. I don’t know if it was because it’s an older sample or what, but it just tasted like a light fruity tea (I don’t taste any distinctive ingredients). I think I bought a full size (2 or 3 oz) bag of this from her when I bought 2 full size tea & 5 sampler pack from her last April. Will revisit and not judge just from this one experience.

Tuesday 3/2 So yesterday was my day off & I like to get my monthly sip-downs off to a good start (& thirdly I have a high goal threshold this month because I have spent so much money in 2021 already on tea)… I pulled out a few teas and this was one of them. It is a silver bag from buying actually in a DT store (August 2016 so that means my first time at a DT store in person when I went to Chicago and went to all 5 locations). this bag had a couple of DT perfect spoons (PS) left so I made 20 oz tumbler of this hot + plain then re-steeped the leaves in about 12 oz water hot + plain.. my intention was to drink all of this yesterday while hot. Drank the small container and then had the tumbler cold this morning during my AM work shift (7a-2p).

Monday 3/1 Will be writing about this tea on my instagram since I received this as part of being a #nepalteaambassador – will link the post here when I do post it. This was a sampler pack (enough for a 16 oz cuppa) so I had it hot and plain. I have a 50g pouch as well so I’ll be trying it cold brewed and such as well this month.

Sunday 2/28 so I thought I had reached my goal at this point but I was one short. I pulled out this tea which is not really my tea style but I steeped the 1 sachet I have for a few minutes in 10 oz of water. Not bad for a floral chamomile tea.

Sunday 2/28 pulled this out for the prompt. Fruity teas are my favorites and this is a classic from DT that in haven’t had in I cannot remember how long. Took two 5g sample packet brewed hot and plain and then took to work for my Sunday 2 to 9 am shift (which ended up being a 10+ hour day so I’m tired). Another one I’ll grab a like 4 oz sometime in future year if dt still has this when my stash is under control :)

Sunday 2/28 another older bird and blend tea with cold brew pitcher route…. 1/3rd of tea went to the rug by TV in the living room evening 2/27 as I spilled my full tumbler off coffee table. Nice fruity tea with a sharp note. Would try and make a pitcher with a fresh sample bag in future if the opportunity presents itself.
