Monday 3/29/21 — DT Alpine Punch. This on the other hand is probably my boyfriend’s favorite tea of all time (in the limited number of teas/tisanes he has had much less has liked). I had a single sachet + an almost empty tin (like from those 4 packs of tins with maybe an ounce of tea each and they’d have come with a perfect spoon gifted for holidays) that I made as a hot latte using half ’n half cream (which he also loves). Dang this cold morning of being in the 30s when we got up for the day. /le sigh/

Monday 3/29/21 — Bird and Blend Lime Cola Guayusa. This is an old sample pack enough to make a cold brew pitcher. I was trying to pawn this off to my boyfriend and he drank most of the pitcher but the last of it I actually poured down the drain because he wasn’t feeling it anymore.

Sunday 3/28/21 — PudTea Vanilla Sundae. I’ve been lucky this year to have received, waiting to arrive, or in future will hopefully be receiving tea mail from various online tea friends… I’m actually going to do my Mastress Alita April sipdown challenge (the A-Z list of teas) just using teas I’ve gotten from these fun swaps! (or at least the best I can, still missing a few letters) — Anyway, this is a tea in my most recent mail [which was AJRimmer thank you!] I just had a long busy tiring weekend from work and wanted to make something hot/easy at home and lay down on the couch. I made this as a hot latte, but this just tasted like rooibos to be honest (I took a few small sips before adding milk), was not getting any of the black tea or fudge pieces.

Sunday 3/28/21 — Bird & Blend Cherry Bakewell. Cold brew pitcher finished Sunday morning at work. I enjoy sipping this when find in my stash (although need to try hot) but not enough to have one my “to buy” list. Never had a cherry bakewell so not able to compare to the actual treat. Just tastes like a light fruity tea, reminds me of Pomegrateful from DT as they are both fruity teas with a white tea base.

Thursday 3/25/21 — winter White Chocolate oolong.. can’t remember the company. Didn’t really taste like anything but oolong I remember in past enjoying the creamy melted chocolate with oolong in hot and plain cuppa.

Thursday 3/25/21 — ZenTea Atlanta almond papaya rooibos. So a few weeks ago was my 3 year anniversary of dating Micah. 2017/18/19 was also my heyday of traveling like mad and working a lot trying to afford the trips. In September 2018 I found this tea shop in Atlanta and this was one of the 15? 2 oz foil bags I got after spending awhile deciding what teas to get. I have learned that I don’t enjoy rooibos but it is one of my my boyfriend’s favorites. In fact he literally texted me other day ‘Thank you for the tea I like the almond’ (although I can’t remember if it was this tea. I think so.)

Wednesday 3/24/21 — DT Frozen Raspberry. Pitcher pack time! And trying to get through my January/February DIY advent calendar (aka #drinkwhatyouown).. I need to work on March too but they are all green teas and today is day 11 in a row and my only day off for all of last week and all of this week is tomorrow Thurs so I’ll do a few green teas + work on my Steepster Sipdown Mad(ness) bracket. I generally drink cold-brew pitchers of tea (flavored and traditional) and hot lattes. Occasionally a hot cuppa, a drink out (like from a cafe / Starbucks / store bottled kombucha / etc), but I’m not really a sweetener kind of person. I’ve always been a Frozen Raspberry fan but as I was sipping a bunch last night with a spicy dinner my boyfriend made, I was really struck with how SWEET this tea is. I wonder if I’d still enjoy this tea if there wasn’t as much sugar in it? The DT Raspberry Cream Pie is tooooo sweet for me, this one is okay, maybe I could find something to mix it with, so the sweetness isn’t as strong for me?
