The orange flavor here is so creamy and lovely. The orange is bright, juicy, and authentic. There’s something marshmallowy and fun in there too. I only have the advent amount, but I’d love to have more! I don’t notice the black tea or the rooibos really, which is fine because the flavoring is great. The resteep was super strong and tasty as well.

I love this one and Jaffa Cakes SO MUCH!

AJRimmer

Oh I have that one but haven’t opened it yet! Looking forward to trying it!

Sipped on this during a meeting today so it didn’t get full attention, but definitely enough to realize that it was really smooth and tasty – all the boxes that I’d want in a Creamsicle blend were checked from the sherbet orange to the creamy vanilla, and I personally love a nice honeybush base! The black tea feels a bit redundant since there’s so much more honeybush and you don’t taste it at all – but I suppose that it’s likely contributing some of the body here.

Final tea of the advent grab bag. Though the 25th tea was meant by Nichole to be had on New Year’s Eve, I saved this for today, the first, since it’s Kiki’s name day.

“Dry smells like tangerine!”

I sniff it and say I think I smell cream, hand the packet back to Kiki.

sniff “Huh, yeah! Kinda like… kinda like a, what’s it called… a creamsicle.”

picks up the mug “Yeah, it definitely smells creamy, like creamsicle. Yes, hm, mildy citrusy, tangerine-orange flavor. I pick up the black tea and it smells like a …lightly… creamsicle. And it tastes like a creamsicle. smiles The more you drink, the more the orange comes out. I can taste the orange rind, or cit— citrus rind, whatever kind it is. It’s good. It’s very good. I’m not one to really like that vanilla cream kinda flavor BELCH because it tastes artificial laughs sorry, oopsie, more laughs so I probably wouldn’t buy it. Happy New Year everybody.” smiles

(FWIW, this is called Orange Dreamsicle on the packet)

Thank you so much, Nichole, for making this advent possible. Kiki had a great time trying a new tea almost everyday this past month. We found several that she really liked and I’ll be purchasing pouches of those for her if they’re available. The best part for her, though, was having me share her reactions with Steepster. She loves to please, so all your comments made her happy. I’ll be sure this year to post some reviews from Kiki here and there.

I have been hitting this one hard the past few days! It is one of my favorites, along with Parker’s Blend and Spiced Fall Evenings and,,,

Kiki’s reviews are great. I look forward to reading more of them this year :)

I received the following review by text from my Tennessee friend last night: “Orange Creamsicle is a winner!”

I heartily agree. My eyes rolled back in my head with pleasure when I sniffed the pouch…scent memories that go all the way back to the church camp snack bar orange push-up pops. (I chose to stomp out the accompanying memories of those embarrassingly tortured junior high summer camp romances. It would just spoil the experience ;)

Steeped at three minutes fifteen, the orange was spit-spot accurate in flavor with no tartness. It lost a tiny bit of the creaminess, but with a little half-and-half, I felt like I was drinking melted ice cream. Reached the bottom of the cup far too soon.

I love this note! This was my tea yesterday though I haven’t posted it yet, it was so good that I pulled out the pouch I already own and made more in the afternoon!

Haha, at least I am not only one who thought it is kike an ice cream! INdeed easy-drinking cuppa

CuppaGeek Advent Calendar – Day 21

I had a video chat with my friends today and decided to make a tea for that. I only had two of today’s advent teas left but I was saving them for the baking fun so I decided instead to make this one. This is the tea I pulled out to drink on day 21 of advents but didn’t quite get to it since I got caught up building my tea cabinet.

I was intrigued by my video chat which means I was more focused on that than the tea. However, I do recall I definitely got a clear creamsicle flavor. Sweet orange and vanilla cream combined. Unfortunately I also got honeybush which took me out of it a bit. With that said, I had another creamsicle tea today and I would say this was the better of the two in my book.

CuppaGeek Advent Calendar, December 15

This is indeed orange tea in a cup. And somehow creamy.

It was drinking an orange hot ice-cream. It was very juicy, enjoyable and smooth/creamy, but on the other hand I am lacking the base now. Always complainer.

Creamy orange sounds oddly delicious.

advent day 23
I’ve had this one before so it was a nice treat. I still think the honeybush overpowers and makes this a less desirable blend.

Raging hot here, and lots of outside work to do with the garden going strong. I made a pitcher of this iced and sweetened and it is so good I might cry. Definitely one I need more of, and I think I have ordered it twice already.

Orange is so refreshing to me and the vanilla creamy aspect makes it so smooth. I think I could chug the whole liter with no problem.

AJRimmer

I love this one!

gmathis

Since our afternoon high here is supposed to be 99, I wondered how you were faring!

gmathis

(Of course, the office air is set to “meat locker,” so I’m drinking my bevvies hot this afternoon.)

ashmanra

gmathis: I think we “only” hit 91F but that was plenty for me! Even the air feels sticky! I am thankful that we have good air conditioning. Enjoy the meat locker! Sounds like a haven…

ashmanra

AJRimmer: It is in my top five of Cuppa Geek loves!

gmathis

Come see me! It’s been so frosty that this week I have opened the windows to let a little heat IN.

Martin Bednář

Uh, oh… same here gmathis. I am melting with a view of neighbors bathing in the swimming pool. Today’s highs around 99F (37 °C) as well. Not a sticky air, but still very unpleasant. And I am studying!

Kawaii433

Sounds so good!
