At first I didn’t like this tea at all… But I only turn to it when I have a cold, and it grew on me because it became really soothing… I only rely on sample because I don’t need it that often, only when I’m sick, which I am right now unfortunately. It’s mainly peppermint and citrusy.

I don’t know why I waited so long to review this one because it’s one of my favourites right now, but here it is. I surprisingly love this blend, it reminds me of mocha latte, but even better. I’m not a coffee drinker AT ALL, so I wasn’t sure if I’d like this, but turns out its AMAZING iced with soy milk. It’s got that mocha-y taste, without it being overwhelming, and the carob which makes it nice and rich, but there’s also the sweet chocolate taste as well. Its amazing. I could drink iced lattes all day. I tried it with some chocolate agave too and it’s just as good. Love love love!!

Took me a while to actually review this on here, but this tea is pretty good, to me it just tastes like a green apple jolly rancher. It’s quite refreshing, but that’s pretty much all I taste. By all means, it is definitely better than Sour Watermelon in my opinion. This is much sweeter instead of just sour, and I enjoy the apple taste much more.

drank Strawberry Ginger by DAVIDsTEA

Right, so I’ve always wanted to try this oldie, and I finally got my hands on some! I was so excited. At first taste it was very lemony tasting, which surprised me, but as it kept steeping I could get more of the ginger and strawberry flavours in it. I think this reminds me of something else, but I’m not sure what. It isn’t entirely as good as I was expecting, but it’s alright none the less.

I have heard good things about this tea so I used one of my FS rewards while I still could. This tea is very smooth, and for a straight tea, I think it’s pretty good. Not sure whether I could taste the puerh or not… But there is a sweet note to it. I think this tea would be good with honey in it too. I just added sugar. But it’s got mineral tastes to it as well.. Overall this is better than Royal White Peony was to me. I like it, but I don’t often drink straight teas.

drank Grapefruit Granita by DAVIDsTEA

So I got a pitcher pack to try this one more time before giving up completely, and I tried it out in my new iced tea pitcher press. I had to add a lot of agave – and that stuffs expensive! But still, I don’t like this really at all. I’m tolerating it, because I don’t want to waste the tea, but it’s still very bitter and sour to me. Just like grapefruit. Which I don’t like either. Its slightly more tolerable with the agave but I just don’t like this tea in general.

I’m surprised I haven’t reviewed this one yet. This isn’t one of my favourites, but I enjoy it once in a while. I only grabbed 50g this year because I know it’s part of the core collection now. This tea has a good raspberry flavour with a tart taste to it. And a very subtle mint flavour which does give it a cooling refreshing taste. It’s a good tea, especially during the summer.

drank Sparkling Sangria by DAVIDsTEA

Mmm, this one is quite tasty! I only got 50g to try, since I wasn’t too sure about liking it, since I extremely disliked the Sangria from last year, but now I know I’ll have to get more of this one. It is way more fruity and lighter than last year, and therefore much tastier. I can also kind of taste the ‘sparkling’ aspect to it. The addition of the tropical fruits makes it so much better and I’m really enjoying this one. Yummy.

I was really looking forward to this one, because it looks so pretty, and it smells amazing! It smells just like the wine… But when I tried it it didn’t taste the same unfortunately, and for some odd reason seems to have an aftertaste that reminds me of the Sangria tea from last year. Which I didn’t like at all. So while this tea is drinkable it doesn’t taste as good as it smells. I tried steeping it for different times as well, but I still get that same aftertaste. I’m not sure what it is. So overall this tea is okay.

I decided to order this tea because it’s retiring and I hadn’t tried it yet. The description sounded good enough. I added some sugar to make it taste good, and other than that, it tastes quite vegetal… At first it tasted buttery but I’m glad it got better as it steeped. This tea is okay, for a straight tea.

Bio

Hi, I’m Michelle and I am pretty much obsessed with tea. Some people say I have a problem. I mostly drink DavidsTea – but I am open to trying other ones too.

Things I LOVE in tea:
-Fruits (especially peach, melon, strawberry, banana, berries etc)
-Chocolate
-Lemongrass
-Cinnamon

Things I don’t MIND in tea:
-Stevia
-Vanilla
-Pineapple
—Mint & Peppermint

Things/ingredients I HATE in tea:
-Coconut (Rare exceptions)
-Nuts (Some exceptions)
-Caramel/toffee
-Earl Grey (Bergamot)
-Rice/fennel
-Coffee beans
-Bamboo
-Lavender

I am quite picky with my teas. If the primary ingredients are mixed with something I don’t tend to like – I will try it and its possible I’ll like it. But if the tea is mostly/primarily something I hate – I won’t even try it.
I mostly like Herbals, Green, Oolong, White and Black teas.
