drank Tea The North by DAVIDsTEA

I was hesitant to try this tea because of the coconut, but the rest of the ingredients sounded good so I got an iced cup to go anyway. I definitely taste the coconut… Which I don’t like too much but there are other fruity flavours there too, which makes it better for me. I really don’t know why they would put coconut in this, it has nothing to do with Canada… I added agave to make it good enough but overall I am not too sure whether I’d buy any. It’s not bad, but it’s not the best either…

drank Beach Bellini by Teavana

I had the chance to get a free cup of this on Saturday, since it was National Iced Tea Day. It was quite good, but very tropical! They used like 6 spoons of tea to make it which is probably why I don’t get flavour when I make teavana teas at home. I would get this tea again, if it weren’t so expensive there. It had a different taste to it, which I assume was the papaya. Overall it was very refreshing!

drank Passion Punch by DAVIDsTEA

This smells great, and so similar to Pink Passionfruit. It’s interesting that it’s a white tea, though. Seems more green. Anyway, I’m trying this one iced, and again, it’s very similar to Pink Passionfruit, I find. It’s an interesting taste, I’d assume its the passionfruit. It’s got a bit of a bitter taste to it, even with some sugar added. But overall I like it. Not sure if I’ll get more than 50g, though.

drank Fruity Oasis by DAVIDsTEA

Backlog – I tried this one last night and it steeped a very deep red colour. Almost blood-red. Because of the prickly pear this reminded me of Cool Cactus, and it’s somewhat similar in taste. So it’s very fruity and tropical, and I really like it. I didn’t taste the stevia, but then again – I don’t really mind stevia anyway. I find it interesting that it has aloe vera in it, and I’m not even sure what that tastes like but it’s cool. I’d say this is a good tea for a rooibos blend. All it needed was a little agave and it was great.

Today I’m having this as a frappe, mixed with Banana Split, and it’s super delicious! Someone on the DT fan group made one and told me how to make my own. I don’t know which of the 2 teas I taste more but it’s sure yummy. Guess it’s just the perfect mix.

Wow! I am very impressed with this one. I LOVE it. It reminds me of Blackberry Blizzard – which is a favourite of mine! This is probably gonna come very close to it in my ranks. It’s very raspberry flavoured, of course, and I just really love it. Definitely getting more of this one ASAP.

drank Melon Cooler by DAVIDsTEA

I was relatively excited for this one, but really for all of the Oasis collection as a whole. I really love melon teas though, so this one I was looking forward to. It smells very strange dry and while steeping, and I can’t really figure out what that strange smell is, but when I tasted it (iced) it tastes much much better than it smelled. Also it steeps a bright red colour – which I wasn’t expecting at all really. It’s almost like watermelon juice, but I’m also getting a different flavour in there too, I wanna say cucumber, but I know there’s none in this. Maybe it’s the figs. Overall this is a good refreshing tea for the summer days.
Also – this is my 200th tasting note! WOOP

It’s awesome hot as well! I was a bit sceptical when I smelled it but it tastes SO different to how it smells!

Michelle

I shall have to give it a try hot!

This smells lovely even before I steeped it. I steeped it for 4 minutes and I really enjoyed watching the little balls unfurl. I like the jasmine taste with the black tea base. Overall a very good tea, which I even got a second steep out of, which was just as tasty.

I was afraid that I over steeped this one as I sorta forgot about it, but turned out to be good still. It has a distinct grape flavour and it’s quite bold. This is probably the best grape tea I’ve had flavour wise. I like it. One of the best teavana teas I’ve tried.

Surprisingly I haven’t tried this till now, and also to my surprise, it was pretty good. I’m not a big rooibos drinker, but the sweet chocolate taste along with the subtle mint was actually really nice.

Hi, I’m Michelle and I am pretty much obsessed with tea. Some people say I have a problem. I mostly drink DavidsTea – but I am open to trying other ones too.

Things I LOVE in tea:
-Fruits (especially peach, melon, strawberry, banana, berries etc)
-Chocolate
-Lemongrass
-Cinnamon

Things I don’t MIND in tea:
-Stevia
-Vanilla
-Pineapple
—Mint & Peppermint

Things/ingredients I HATE in tea:
-Coconut (Rare exceptions)
-Nuts (Some exceptions)
-Caramel/toffee
-Earl Grey (Bergamot)
-Rice/fennel
-Coffee beans
-Bamboo
-Lavender

I am quite picky with my teas. If the primary ingredients are mixed with something I don’t tend to like – I will try it and its possible I’ll like it. But if the tea is mostly/primarily something I hate – I won’t even try it.
I mostly like Herbals, Green, Oolong, White and Black teas.
