269 Tasting Notes
My first pu’erh Tea and it didn’t really have much flavor. Although I’m not really sure what it’s supposed to taste like anyway. I don’t know, just not for me. Would still try more teas from the company though.

Preparation
Just finished my first box, last cup right now. Turmeric has numerous health benefits and I wanted to get some of them-so why not through drinking a turmeric tea. I was skeptical of the taste. But it’s not bad actually. You can definitely taste the turmeric, along with a pleasant hit of vanilla. I do wish the cardamom cake through more, but what can you do? Overall it wasn’t terrible, thing I love enough to buy again and again, but I don’t mind it. If you are interested in the health benefits I would rxccomend giving it a try. A spoon of honey is this teas friend.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I really like floral green tea. Wasn’t so sure about it at first but by my second cup I new I loved it. Just a touch of sugar either warm or cold. Just good tea all around and not too common of a flavor. This is my first rose tea. Highly recommended and wish I had more. Gets a couple resteeps.

Preparation
I don’t think I’ve ever had straight loose oolong tea. It was a lot less bitter than some of the bags I’ve had. Just had a regular flavor, not as strong tasting as black which I think I prefer to oolong. This one had the tendency to get really bitter if overstepped so definitely watch your times. Overall, this one was nothing special. I enjoyed the black tea I got in the mystery bag much more. Also it’s a little on the weaker side. Takes more tea to get flavor.
Preparation
This is another tea my parents sent me. I think it’s pineapple, but it sure doesn’t taste like pineapple, it just tastes like a mean green tea. It’s ok, but not something I want again. I can drink the rest easily enough. It’s better than bagged Lipton anyway. I just expected more of a fruity flavor.
Flavors: Green
Preparation
My very first loose black tea-that’s not in a teavana blend. When I first got this I just thought, oh this tastes like regular black tea. I liked it, but I wasn’t so sure there was a difference between black loose tea and the stuff in the bags I get at the supermarket. Until I decided to just have a cup of black tea at work (lipton) and I could taste how bitter and unfresh it was. This has a brighter taste to it, fresher, and made me want to keep drinking. It also makes some great sweet tea, and is nice unsweetened too. I got it in the mystery tea for my bday and once I’ve used it all up, I will definitely be looking into ordering again. Yummy. Forgot to add i get two great steeps and one ok one with this.

Preparation
I don’t remember trying any Irish tea,s. I picked this out because I don’t have any black teas at the moment and they are great for rough mornings. Never bought this brand before but I love that it is organic and fair trade. And it was on sale. It’s pretty good, makes a great sweet tea, but doesn’t stand up to milk and sugar as well as some other black teas. I get two solid brews out of it. Overall, I like it.
Preparation
Smells impressive, like a little bit of an overripe pineapple. I find I have to use a lot of tea to get flavor, seriously cheapo tea from the grocery has more flavor. Three scoops for about two cups pulls it together. Surpsingly pineapple, but there’s some bitter to it. You can steep it again but most of the flavor is gone. Overall, meh. Also to expensive for what it is.
Preparation
Chamomile tea has been growing on me, slowly but surely. I needed a cheap night time herbal tea so I bought a box of this. Checked the ingredients and no soy or artificial flavoring so into the cart it went. First cup was delicious, light chamomile with just a hint of peach, not to artificial tasting either. I steep mine two teabags to about 18 to 20 oz of water in one of those cast iron tea pots and add just a hint of sugar. It’s 3 am and I think I might go brew a pot now, it’s calling and relaxing, but doesn’t necessarily put me to sleep, sleep is more restful though when I do drink it.
