Disappointed. Went into the shop to get a cup to go and was told this was a straight milk oolong – no flavoring added. Even the label on the container made no mention of added ingredients. One sip and I could tell that this is definitely not a straight tea. It’s drinkable, but has a slight sour, artificial note to it. Milk oolongs are smooth and buttery, and this really lacks that smoothness.

I’m always so thrilled when DT comes out with another oolong (they have far too few IMO). This tea does not disappoint. It’s smooth and slightly sweet, with lovely floral notes. The magnolia really shines and the jasmine is present without being too overpowering or perfume-y. Hopefully this one sticks around.

Lovely green tea. Bright, vegetal/grassy. Slightly astringent, but very fresh tasting. Perfect cup to wake you up in the morning.

Love this tea. Smooth, slightly toasty/nutty with the first few steeps. Lighter, flowery notes emerge in later steeps.

Received a sample of this in December’s Sipsby box. It’s a lovely, delicate white tea. I steeped gongfu style. The first steep at 10 seconds was very subtle and grassy. Further in the tea seemed to open up, with notes of honey and hay. In total, I was able to get about 5 good steeps from this tea.

When brewed correctly, this is one of my favorite teas to indulge in. I love the peachy floral notes in this delicate cup. It definitely is temperamental, and easy to turn into a bitter mess with oversteeping. That said, I keep the water relatively cool and steep time quick.

Received this tea as a sample in the December Sipsby box and have really enjoyed it. It smells lovely-with the amaretto and cinnamon really shining through – but the flavor of the tea is surprisingly subtle and smooth.
