I still find this tea to have one of the best price/quality ratios on the market. It’s smooth, pungent and balanced with a good huigan and longevity (one can easily get 200ml/g), staying interesting until the end of the session. Compared to my earlier note, it hasn’t changed much. The aroma is a bit more nutty now, with a bunt onion like scent. On the other hand, the taste is slightly more woody and maybe just a touch sweeter too.

Flavors: Bitter, Burnt Food, Citrus Zest, Floral, Forest Floor, Freshly Cut Grass, Fruity, Grapefruit, Orchid, Peat, Smooth, Sweet, Tangy, Tart, Tobacco, Vegetal, Wood

I have been a fan of green tea for a while and I started exploring other kinds of tea in greater depth only in 2017. I rarely drink blends and generally avoid artificially scented teas. Other than that I try to keep it varied.
