I had issues logging in, got welcome email stating that i was a new member

I had this issue too, but clearing my cookies and logging back in solved it.

it seems all good now, i cleared my stuff and logged on just right :)

I can’t seem to get “unsubscribed” from a discussion topic I replied to. The website shows that I am currently not subscribed to this topic, but I am still getting emails when people reply to it.

Same thing is happening to me, for some reason it didn’t happen on this one earlier but in the one I just replied to it happened and clicking to unsubscribe does not work.

Also if I click on the discussion topic link in my email, it takes me to some memberly.co page that asks me to login with the notice “To view this page, you must log in to area “Application” on memberly.co:80.”

I noticed that it now shows the correct number of teas for the shopping list, but my cupboard is actually smaller than it should be. It says I have 125 teas, which is correct, but when I click and browse the pages, I have 6 pages with 12 teas, and the last page only has 2 – so that’s only 74? I noticed when I was trying to look up a tea I knew should be in there and it didn’t show up.

Yeah, mine should be 133 (and it says that there are 133 on the main page), but it seems to add up to 99 only? If I look up one of the teas that doesn’t appear in my cupboard listing (but should be there), it does say “in your cupboard” on the tea’s page.

Yeah, on my dashboard it gives me the correct number of teas in my cupboard, but the cupboard itself only shows the teas I’ve rated or have tasting notes for.

Similarly, when I sort by “company name” it doesn’t show everything. For example, I have Bigelow teas in my cupboard, but it jumps from Adagio to Butiki. Weird.

My cupboard doesn’t say how many teas are in it. When you scroll through, it’s showing 3 pages of 12 plus 5 on the last page. That’s 41 – I should have 131 ish…

Yes, same problem for me. I realized this just a minute ago when I went to review a tea. Correct on the dashboard, wrong in the actual cupboard. The tea I wanted to review is among the missing.

Edit: Went to the page for the tea that’s not listing, and it says it’s in my cupboard, but.

same here, i suppose to have 47 in my cupboard(i just added 2 more, but not showing) only like 30 are showing up in there

The cupboard should be showing the correct number of teas now. Anyone still not seeing everything in their cupboard that they’re supposed to be seeing?

The sort has been dropped temporarily because it was causing issues (will bring it back when we can) and not displaying the # of teas in the cupboard/shopping list is a known issue.

I had a hard time logging in – clicking the link to login took me for an endless loop of refreshing my dashboard.

Switched to IE and it stopped looping, and yay, was logged in but on chrome.

This might be part of the issue I had with logging in – id you try deleting your cookies? (For all browsers and computers you use). I am trying to think of all the computers I will need to do this on! :)

I had trouble using my iPad. Once I cleared the cookies, everything worked.

I’d also recommend clearing your cookies if you can, thanks Lala and Uniquity for pointing that out. We upgraded our security across the board with this new version and while this transition should have been seamless, it looks like some folks are seeing issues. Apologies! Let us know if clearing your cookies doesn’t fix the problem and I’ll follow up ASAP.

A number of people are mentioning problems logging in. The immediate fix is clear your cookies, which you should be able to do in your browser settings. Otherwise, we’ll be working to get that back to normal shortly.

Finally, I can post! I log in through Google. I normally use Chrome but was afraid to tinker until I got Steepster working in Explorer. I tried deleting the cookies in IE8 and then attempted to login connected to Google. It kept taking me to a Nothing To See Here page. I finally just typed in my email and Google password at the log in prompt and got straight in. I have now done the same thing in Chrome and am up and running.

For those who don’t want to delete all their Chrome cookies – While on Steepster press ctl-shift-i this will open a window with a tab called resources. Scroll down and find cookies. Click it and delete the Steepster cookies. Exit. Reload should take you to login. Good luck.

Glad to hear it. You should be able to clear site specific cookies (in chrome) by opening the window to clear cookies and then searching for steepster.com. Then clear the ones that show up.

Okay, I’m experiencing a lot of random issues. If I add or remove a tea from my cupboard, I don’t get the popup notification telling me it worked like I did before the update. It also doesn’t always work and I have to try removing it, reloading the page to see if it worked, and rinse and repeat until it finally takes. When writing a new tasting note and assigning it a rating, the bar doesn’t work the way it used to. I don’t see it filling up with green when I move it around, and the little hash-marks that tell me about the other teas I’ve rated don’t display if I set the rating to be the same. They do seem to display if I mouse over them when the new rating is set to something else though. I’m having trouble posting new notes in general and have gotten the kettle a couple times. Finally, I sometimes have to reload the tea page twice before my new note will show up. And yes, I have cleared my cookies since the update.

Some of those sound like it could be the site cacheing, which was a large part of the update. We’ll get those on the list.

The ratings slider color is on the list. Though I’m pretty sure the hash-marks only show other teas when you hover, they’re not supposed to show when you put the ratings circle marker over them.

Tasting notes should be showing up consistently now too. Let us know if they’re not.

I’m still getting email notifications for this thread, even though I’m not subscribed to it.

Also, I think Adagio Breeze is correct and that teas that have no rating/notes will not show up in your cupboard!

Yeah, looking over the teas that aren’t showing in mine, that seems to be the problem.

Tested this by posting my review. That tea now shows up in my cupboard with the others.
