I will be honest. Already yesterday I took the bags for today to see what they are. I have seen plain balck and white/green tea. I took black one to the office (preparing a day before, because waking up early and I don’t want to wake up my brother — who is moody all day if I wake him up).

And plain black tea sounded so nice for cold morning and first mug in the office. Of course, as it is a tea bag, it wasn’t very high quality (but not only dust either), but certainly it was convenient.

Somehow, I don’t recall when I had my last plain Assam tea. Not even if I had bagged plain Assam before. But this one is good! Smooth, mouth-coating and very, very malty — almost sweet; with dates note, so much yum! I did rather short steeping, as it was colouring the water very fast… I think it could be 2, maximum 3 minutes. And even it was very strong, there was no bitterness nor astringency.

Flavors: Dates, Malt

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 2 min, 30 sec 17 OZ / 500 ML

I am drinking almost everything. Tea bag collector who moved to wonderful world of loose leaf.

Trying to rate differently tea bags and loose leaf as tea bags have usually worse quality.

Photographer now and then. Postcrossing and geocaching member. Very curious person. Logistics student (should finish in June 2021).

Buried in tea right now. Is in my cupboard (trying to be updated) which sparkled your interest? Write me, I would gladly share with you. But I don’t want anything in return now :)
