drank Dragonfruit Devotion by Teavana
254 tasting notes

Sipdown! I thought I had already finished this, but when I was re-organizing my stash I discovered one more cup’s worth in the tin. This was a favorite for a while, but then I found the better and cheaper version at DAVIDsTEA. Their Pink Passionfruit tastes nearly the same but without the slightly perfumey note in the aftertaste. When and if I decide to replace it, that’s the direction I’ll be headed in.

I had some of this and you’re right about the perfumey note.

I’ve been looking for a similar tea without the perfumey note. Thanks for sharing! Are there any other differences?

It’s been a little while, but if I remember correctly the actual size of the DAVIDsTEA blend was smaller. The Teavana had bigger fruit chunks which made is necessary to use larger pieces of teaware to infuse it.

Feel free to browse my cupboard if you’re interested in swapping, but all the mate and pu-erh in our household is my husband’s.

For swapping purposes, please note the apple allergy. Thank you!

I tried to limit my cupboard to teas that were 1oz or larger, but that was a gorgeous failure in terms of swap communication. It’s all going back up.

Okay, I just feel wrong trying to grade things without a rubric – it’s too inconsistent! So, here is the grading breakdown:

0-50: Dump it!
50-60: I might finish the cup
60-70: Possibly finish the pot
70-80: I may keep this on hand
80-90: Cupboard space guaranteed
90-100: Poetry may be involved!
