I love the spicy Maharaja mixed with the sweetness of the samurai chai. So this is my favorite blend of chai. I like a strong cup so about the 3rd pot of this I add in a little extra. I use equal parts of each tea.

This is a delicious blend. I’m not terribly keen on chai tea or blends even, but this hits the mark on both for me. A nice spicy chai. Add a splash of milk and a little honey, and it’s quite nice.

Not much to say that is different from other’s notes.I tend to use full, rounded teaspoons on Teavana teas, and this is no exception. I too find there is a little too much cinnamon. I tend to like a little more cardamom. I re-steeped it with a little vanilla/black combination (don’t remember what it’s called) which toned down the cinnamon. Now, I am enjoying it more. So I took the rest of the chai container and added some of the vanilla/black and mixed it up. Hopefully I put in a good amount and I’ll have it all set for next time. I don’t know how to rate it since I added my own mix to it, so I won’t rate it. I guess I’d give it a 50 at first and an 80 with the vanilla.

This is a Pre packaged sample from Teavana, hence REALLY REALLY sweetened. I don’t usually drink sweetened tea, so this is making me feel I went all out with syrups at a Starbucks or something. Since it’s so sweetened, I only really taste sugar and cinnamon. A pity, since it has so many great ingredients.

This sample came with the Almond Plum Perfection I bought. 1oz of tea suggested for 16 ounces of water…typical Teavana! Loads of sugar and a large tea-to-water ratio. Oh well, Teavana knows best!

Tastes just like the samples you’d get in the store! For not being a big fan of flavored teas and herbals, this one was actually really good. A little heavy on the sugar. But the flavor is really nice and warming. Cinnamon, spice, and everything nice. Chai. Kind of velvety on the tip of my tongue.

Pretty good, but I can taste some of the artificial flavoring at the back of my mouth. My mouth is really sensitive. If someone offered this to me, I’d drink it. But I don’t know if I’d go out of my way to keep it stocked and on-hand. Pretty good, would be interested in tasting it without the sugar.

I like it without the sugar, although Chai typically has a fair amount of sugar.

I have had this 1oz sample sitting around forever and ever, but was too hesitant to try it. I’m not a big cinnamon fan, but I am pleasantly surprised. Not sure I would buy again, but I will be finishing the sample at least!

I love this blend, and love that Teavana sends a sample with each order. I don’t love that it is so spiked with sugar! If they must sugar it, half of what they currently use would be sufficient. That said, I enjoy the combo! I love cinnamon, and that is the primary spice here.

The first loose-leaf tee I ever bought at Teavana. It’s spicy and sweet(I use stevia leaf to sweeten my teas). I also use 3 tsp. to 10 oz of water, I like my tea strong!

Strong spicy notes. Too much for me, even with the rock sugar pieces in it.
