This is one of the teas that has been hanging out in my “Sip me down!” bucket. I only really like it as a latte and don’t care to wake up early enough before work most days to make one. So, I get this one on the weekends, which is fine, especially since the weather here is pretty gloomy.

I had a little sample of this one lying around. I think it may have been from the first round of the T&C TTB, so I’ve had it for a while. Even though I usually prefer unflavored teas, I’ve been having straight blacks and oolongs at work daily for a while now, so it was time for a little change. I thought that the vanilla flavor was nice, and not too overpowering or reminiscent of pure vanilla extract. However, the base tea seemed really weak. I don’t know if it is because it is a decaf tea or just because the base tea is otherwise weak. I expect a black base to be bolder and complement the flavor of vanilla. Anyway, I only have about 1 tsp left, so perhaps next time I’ll try blending it with another strong black base as a non-decaf cuppa.

Some people are just judgmental jerks who can’t understand life choices that differ from the norm or their own path. Sometimes this can have a real and serious impact on our personal and professional lives. This tea + rice milk + Kahlua is making me feel better.

I’m sorry, Kaylee. :( I cannot get over some people, how they think they make life’s rules or something. Or that their opinions are facts. Get over yourselves and open your minds.

This light bodied black tea is sweet and creamy all on it’s own. There is no need to add any cream or sweetener, making it perfect for someone who is wanting to lose weight or make or make more health conscious choices. I find this tea to be very comforting and it cures my sweet tooth! I’ll definitely be keeping it on hand.

This is my go-to when I need a soft classic vanilla taste. Not too sweet, just perfect. I like that there’s a creamy blend to this flavor. It’s not overbearing. When I’ve had a long week of Paris tea, a burst of sweet flavor, I relax with this one.

I drank the koolaid and bought this. It’s pretty bad. They only had decaf, maybe that’s why it was horrible. In the HUGE bag I bought (qq) this tea smells absolutely delicious. So whatever chemicals they concocted are nice smelling, but the taste doesn’t translate to the tea or else is kind of artificial tasting. The leaves don’t seem high quality either (overbrew super easily before any vanilla flavor can be obtained). I’ve tried various tea to water ratios and times. Lesigh.

Ordered a sample of this with my last Harney order and have been dying to try it. My chance finally came last night when I had it with a few ginger thins as my after-dinner sweet fix. Dry leaf smell was very strong, very marshmallow-y, which got me a little worried as I dislike vanilla teas that taste more like marshmallow than vanilla. Brewed, the scent tuned to – and I know this sounds crazy – vanilla pudding! In the end, the tea was really nice, very drinkable, but I was wishing for a bit more of a stronger vanilla flavor. That being said, I enjoyed it enough that I will definitely be ordering more, so I can have a nice dessert decaf tea to drink at night.

Mastress Alita’s Monthly Sipdown Challenge
February 2022 → A tea you could happily drink every day

There were a couple of contenders for this sipdown prompt, with this one winning mostly because it’s later in the day and I don’t need the caffeine. I believe all the others were caffeinated. Not that it would matter too much if it were earlier. I’d drink this one any time of day. It’s a perfect butter cookie black tea blend.

Currently snuggled up in bed with the following: a few of my cats, my TBR list, this tea, and a snack of tangerines and this really delicious bergamot/black tea cheese I found a while back. I wasn’t feeling great earlier (which is why I chose the bed), but I’m feeling pretty comfy now. This is a nice way to end a Monday.

If it didn’t sound creepy, I’d say, “Can I come, too?” ;) You sound deliciously comfortable. Enjoy!

The cheese sounds intriguing…glad you are cozy!

Shae

Haha, not creepy at all! I was quite comfortable. :)

This cheese is delicious. I’d been wanting to try it for a while so I finally closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and pressed Pay Now quickly before I could change my mind. It’s this one below, if anyone’s interested.
