From DAVIDsTEA

A spicy adventure

If you’re into spice-based chais, this one is for you. It’s got a smooth base of caffeine-free rooibos, and a satisfying kick of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and piquant red peppercorns. Plus there’s a strong hint of coconut, for a slightly exotic twist. Try it straight up or infused in hot milk for a truly fabulous chai latte. It’s the kind of thing you get addicted to.

Ingredients: Fair Trade Certified Rooibos, coconut, cinnamon, ginger root, cardamom, cloves, pink peppercorns. With artificial and natural flavouring*.

Way too coconutty for my taste but if you like coconut then this tea would definitely be for you.

Oh delightful. Slightly spicy, and the coconut brings a lovely smooth sweetness. Warm, and perfect for fall.

This is an interesting blend and a rather spicy tea, and a nice chai blend.

It’s better hot on a cold day and isn’t something i would drink as a daily tea. It’s great in the moment, and you’ll easily forget this is a rooibos tea. The coconut certainly helps bring all the spice together. I would drink this from time to time, it sounds like it would go great in a latte too.

I love rooibos, and am a big fan of chai, so this tea really works for me. It’s spicy and aromatic, and the hint of coconut is enough to make it truly interesting. A sure win, guaranteed!

I’m in the minority here – but I can’t stand this tea! I thought it was something I was doing wrong so I ordered a Coco Chai Rooibos Tea Latté at a David’s Tea store hoping they’d do something differently to make it suddenly amazing – alas, it is not to be.

There is a spicy-chai-ness to this tea but the undertone tastes really unpleasant to me. To me, this tastes like when I’ve blown my nose and gotten mucus in my mouth… I usually love rooibos teas but this one is a disappointment to me.

Not bad. I quite like the spicy flavour and the fact that there is no bitterness to it. It’s fun! I am not sure this is something I would drink every day though! I have yet to try it with milk.

This tastes like fall embodied. I forget if it’s supposed to be a fall collection tea (I remember it being winter), but it’s more a ‘drink this in front of a fireplace for the full experience’ than… whatever you’re supposed to do with tea in autumn. I: It’s a chai tea and it has peppercorns scattered in it, along with coconut slivers and some other things I don’t care about.
I haven’t tried it in latte form yet, but I imagine it’d be fantastic.

I’ve gone through a whole bag of it basically on my own and I already want more. =P

The scent is so intense and spicy, but the taste is so smooth and mellow.

This tea relaxes me so much, it’s my right before bed tea.

Better than warm milk :p

Makes a great chai latte with a teeny bit of a kick from those peppercorns.
Would do well with a little bit more coconut for a richer body, but overall it makes a good cup either with milk or without.
