Hints of marigold petals, apricot, and other natural flavors add a floral dimension. Each tin contains 20 sachets that brew a perfect cup for one.

I found dark chocolate caramel whipped cream in the fridge and I tried to figure out which tea would go nicely with it. This came to mind. It’s more nutty than chocolate and the chocolate it does contribute is semi-sweet and coupled with the bass. It’s slightly astringent but combined with the whipped cream it made for a decadent and rich nutty dark chocolate caramel dessert.

Fjellrev

Holy crap, dark chocolate caramel whipped cream. That sounds extraordinary.

I made some of this this morning since I didn’t feel like using my ingenuitea and I remembered how much I love love love this. I’m running a little low on this one but I’m already worried that I won’t be able to get it ever again…

This is one of the few teas I have that can do both chocolate and nutty flavors well but it is definitely one that has to be had when it’s still hot.

Got a sample of this from the lovely The Cookie Lady!! Love trying more H&S teas, and she gave me a LOT in the last swap. I’ve always wondered how this one would be.
But like I’ve said, before, I’m not into chocolate flavored teas. This one was more nutty than chocolate, so that was kinda surprising. Almost reminded me of a chocolate flavored peanut. Not any other nut that I like-but a peanut. I really don’t like peanuts all that much anymore. They’re in everything it feels like! Especially with chocolate. Peanuts are life ruiners. D: Unless they are in their shells and salted, then they’re good. well the shells are…okay, I’ll stop talking about peanuts now, sorry. xD

Delightful, mmm. Glad I bought this. I can sense chocolate, caramel, vanilla, raisins and a nutty taste and aroma. A tsp of brown sugar and a splash of almond milk really brings out the flavour. Another fine Harney’s tea, hope I can find it in a larger size (I got the tagalong with 5 pyramid sachets). A nice alternative to a sweet treat any time you feel peckish. Went well with my mini matcha kit-kat.

Not only did I defend my thesis proposal today, but Canada won gold in women’s hockey. Best day this year!

Thanks to the fantastical Sil for this! I’ve been curious about Marcus Samuelsson’s blends, seeing that he is… also… a Swedish chef and all. I’m also a fan of chocolatey peanut stuff (Peanut Buster Parfaits are the king) so I’ve been especially interested in this one, and in the lingonbery green too.

Chocolate peanut, eh? I don’t taste peanut in here whatsoever. As a matter of fact, I momentarily forgot this was supposed to have peanuts in it, and get the same vaguely nutty, but mostly chocolatey nuances I get from Florence. That signature Harney chocolate note takes everything over, which is unfortunate because I seem to be one of the few who doesn’t care for it. When I add milk, it’s seriously like Florence. I just finished you a few weeks ago, Florence! Get out of my life, already.

I’m incredibly grateful that I have been able to try this, and have a teabag left still since I’ve been experimenting with it twice now and Sil gave me a few teabags. :)

Sorry, Marcus, no peanuts. I banish thee to Börköarna.

LMAO

Congrats on defending your thesis!

Courtney

Yes, congrats on the defence. :)

OMGsrsly

YAY! Congratulations!

Kittenna

Congrats on getting through your proposal! Is that along the lines of a comprehensive, or something?

We also won women’s curling gold! A very good day overall, assuming I don’t look outside… (terrible weather. I haven’t left the house!)

Fjellrev

Thanks, all! Kittenna, it was for my Master’s. Finally haha.

I heard they won gold too! But I wasn’t sure when they played. Apparently the men’s final is early tomorrow morning. Let’s gooooooo.
