I finished up my stash of this today :(

This tea is tasty! I like it very strong (we’re talking leaving-the-teabag-in-for-five-hours strong). I think that is when the flavors come through the most. I really like the melon flavor, it isn’t too sour which is nice. It is actually quite sweet even without sweetener. MMM! The minty aftertaste is perfection. I love it. This is a very refreshing drink and would make excellent popsicles in the summer (I’d make some, but I’m all out of tea :( so sad)

Overall, this isn’t the very best tea I’ve ever had, but I still enjoy it. I like how refreshing it is. I may stock up if they sell it this summer, but if they don’t, I’ve enjoyed my run with it.

Flavors: Fruity, Melon, Mint, Spearmint

Loooooooove this tea! My order finally came in with the “flashback teas”! So glad I got all three of them to try.

The smell of this dry is so off-putting. It smells so artificial when it’s dry. I think this is where people would smell bubblegum. Once I put this into some hot water though…HOLY DYNA the smell was amazing! I have no clue why this happened, but this is what I got from it. The taste was just as good as the smell! It’s light and fruity, but still has earthy undertones. This is the second maté that I’ve tried and I really like it! I didn’t get as big of a caffeine rush as I did with The Buzz, but that was a good thing in my eyes.

I was able to make two cups out of the one tea bag too which was quite nice because it was great both times around. The flavour did not weaken at all. I probably could have gotten a third cup out of it if I really wanted to.

I love this! I wish I had ordered more. It sucks that they don’t carry this all the time, because I would have a permanent stash of this if I could. I guess my 50g will have to suffice. sigh

I totally agree. I love it too. And I just have my tiny sample, like you. Come on, David’s Tea! Bring it back for good!

Okay, so I got this one as a free sample with an order. I’m glad it was a sample because I’ve been thinking of trying it but have never really gotten around to it.

I like it more than I thought I would. The smell was a little off-putting for me. I think it was the chai. The only other DT chai I have had is Vanilla Chai, and the smell was quite similar (I don’t like Vanilla Chai). Once it had brewed for a bit it smelled quite good, and the bitter edge had been taken off.

This kind of reminds me of a cookie. I think it’s just because it is kind of spicy, but also sweet. It has a nice balance. I can taste the chai flavor, but it is not overpowering. Oddly, I like the coconut in this. I’m not always a fan of coconut flavor in tea. The only thing that I find weird about this tea is that after taking a sip, it feels like my throat is coated in something (it sounds stupid, I know, but it feels like how bravissimo “coats” your throat). I don’t know that I enjoy this part of the tea, but I’m assuming it’s from the coconut. So basically I like the taste of the coconut when I drink the tea, but the after taste is a little awkward.

I probably won’t stock up on this tea but I am glad that I got to try it. I would drink it again, but I won’t be rushing to go buy a bunch any time soon!

A very kind friend gave me this tea because she wasn’t really a fan of it. I had been wanting to try it for a while so it worked out nicely lol

I think I enjoy this tea. It kind of reminds me of marshmallows for some reason. I think it is because it’s so sweet. It reminds me of those toasty coconut marshmallows! The coconut is quite strong in this, but it’s not bad. I personally wish it was more lavender than coconut, because the lavender is such an undertone for me. Maybe I just didn’t get much of it in this cup.

I am starting to think that it is rooibos that I’m not a huge fan of. Something in this tea kind of throws it off balance for me and I think it might be the fact that it is a rooibos tea.

Overall this tea isn’t bad and I will enjoy the rest of the bag, but I don’t think that I will restock. It’s a little too sweet for my taste and the rooibos isn’t my favorite. It is in no way the worst tea I’ve had though!

My class finished early today and I decided to treat myself to some tea. I’ve been wanting to try this tea for quite some time now, so I figured, what the heck! In hindsight it probably was not the best tea to purchase at 9:00pm…

It is very gingery. I like ginger though so this works for me! It is quite strong though so if you aren’t a huge ginger fan or aren’t used to the taste of it you might find it kind of overpowering. I don’t think this is as citrusy as I was expecting it to be but there is definitely a little bit of lemon coming through. For some reason I kind of taste honey in this….there is a sweet element that I can’t quite put my finger on. It is good though! Even with the sweetness I think that this tea is a little bitter (I sound like I’m contradicting myself but it makes sense to me! haha). I added an agave stick which made it soooo much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend doing this.

This was my first experience with Mate. The Buzz was enjoyable, and I will be drinking it again for sure. However, I probably will only do so when I need a real pick-me-up. I’m not used to this much caffeine hahaha. Very yummy with sweetner though, so I might purchase a small stash for myself.

I was at a friends house one night and decided to make a tea! This is the one I chose to make because I had never tasted it before.
It’s interesting… kind of cider-y. I agree with all of the people saying there are sooooo many flavors in this. But there’s not really a great balance of those flavors. They’re all so strong. Some sips were more enjoyable than others, which was weird. It wasn’t as consistent as it could have been.
This is probably my least favorite of the Christmas teas I’ve tried. This or cocomint cream. It isn’t awful if you like that cidery kind of flavor, but it really isn’t my thing. I’m glad I tried it at a friend’s house instead of buying some for myself haha. I won’t be stocking up, but it was good to taste it!

A friend gave me some of this to try today! She really liked it and suggested that I try it. We have now organized a tea trade system hahaha.

Anyways, I don’t know that I really like this. It’s not bad… but it’s not my thing really. I think that although the smell and taste are decent, it’s kind of missing something. Maybe it is the attempt at making it “creamy” that’s throwing me off. I can’t quite put my finger on it. I’m also wondering if I could have made it stronger. I did add just a touch of sweetner which made this more enjoyable for me, but I probably won’t be drinking this again.

If you like berries this might be for you, but where I stand I would much rather drink something like Berry Refreshing – it’s more “berry lemonade” ish.
