This tea was a bit of a let down after trying some other, more flavourful, teas from the same company. All I could really taste was strawberry, I couldn’t detect the kiwi, not even the hibiscus. Next time I think i will need to up the amount of tea, cut in some more hibiscus, or just use this to add flavour to white tea.

I have never tasted Lapacho before today. It has a bark/woody flavour that on it’s own may not appeal to me, but paired with mango is rather pleasant. If you like mango, I imagine that you would be well pleased with this tea. The only downside it that there is a lot of debris so fine that it goes right through my strainer.

My husband and brother-in-law agree, this tastes like Ponche Navideño, the traditional Christmas punch made in Mexico. They couldn’t get over howclose it tastes to their grandmother’s recipe.

It comes out a pretty pink color. The most distinct flavours are the apple and cinnamon, but i can also pick up the papaya and coconut. it tastes nothing like what I would expect a gingerbread house to taste like, but that doesn’t stop it from being delicious.

A delightful rose and cherry tea with an apple background and just the right amount of hibiscus to round out the flavour. It has a strong floral perfume scent.

Personally, I found this very similar to Twinings Earl Grey. Which is cheaper for me to buy, which is why I won’t be buying this again, not because it’s an unpleasant tea. The smell in the tin is just amazing, it doesn’t hold that aroma after steeping though. It has a pleasant bergamot flavour, and a good black tea base.

Not nearly as floral as Cream of Earl Grey or The Earl’s Garden, as it lacks the marigolds, but still slightly too floral for my taste. Not that I have anything against floral teas, it’s just not what i want in my earl grey. At least I can taste the bergamot in this one. I prefer the flavour profile of The Countess of Seville, less floral, more berg.

I got distracted by customers and let this sit for well over 30 minutes. Maybe a shorter steep would have made the citrus flavour evident, but right now I am mainly getting ginger, ginger and ginger. That’s not a bad thing though! Nothing settles an upset tummy/indigestion quite like ginger tea and I often grate and brew it straight. This tastes much like when I make it myself, without the work. If you love the burn of ginger, let it sit. ETA: no buzz, kinda made me sleepy actually (in a warm and cozy sort of way), though that hardly surprises me, caffeine never gives me energy.

This smells wonderful, grapefuity. It seems a little light in flavour at the recommended strength, but I did just eat some very spicy food, so that could be throwing my taste buds off. I have never had anything with gooseberry before, I’m just assuming that is what smells and tastes so much like grapefruit. The upfront flavour is citrus (grapefruit/gooseberry?) with an apple background and exactly the right amount of mint to make it all work. I drank it hot, as it’s cold outside, but I think it would be fantastic iced.

Came back to up the score of this baby. I used a tbsp of tea and left it soaking in my Halloween mug while I took a shower. I don’t know the exact time, but it was 20+ minutes before I went back to it, and holy flavour! I can distinctly taste the Apple, hibiscus and strawberry. I take back the comment about being so-so hot. It just needed more time to make it yummy.

This was so-so hot, but made a delightful tea pop. It was almost cream soda like, but without the overwhelming sweetness of an actual cream soda. I followed the guide on David’s Tea blog, except I doubled the steep time.

Oddly, this reminds me of Christmas morning. Our family is never without a bag or five of Ganong’s Chicken Bones candy during the holidays, and this tea manages to taste remarkably like our favorite festive treat. Cinnamon and dark chocolate with coffee notes and warm memories all in one. Resteeps up nicely at least once, in truth I might prefer the second steep, in which the more subtle flavours stand out. Oh, there will be more of this in my future.
