I was introduced to DAVID’sTEA last month thanks to my friend Kimberly (thanks Kim!) and ever since then I have been obsessed with going to DAVID’sTEA! I go there whenever I go to the mall. I CANNOT leave the mall without getting my oh so famous Forever Nuts latte with silk soy milk and agave. Anyway I decided to buy the DAVID’sTEA starter kit for people new to loose leaf tea and I decided to try it out this morning. I picked Coco Chai Rooibos and it smells AMAZING! Very fruity, tropical, with a gingery smell, and a hint of coconut. After getting off the smell I finally decided to steep it and taste it. BAM! I get a huge flavor of ginger but not too overpowering. I then taste hints of coconut and i even get a spicy like taste possibly from the pink peppercorns. The after taste though is very fruity and coconut like which i enjoy very very much. The reason why I rated it down a bit is because i was hoping for a whole bunch of different flavors with the first sip. The first sip and second sip and third sip are all ginger. You can only taste the other flavors in the after taste. Overall I realy enjoy this rooibos tea surprisingly.
