Woke up early today for some blood tests and this was a welcome pick-me-up. Trying not to stress about the results. If I am diagnosed with what I think I have I will probably need to get surgery, but it’s no use worrying about that now. It’s the last day of the 3 month class I teach (software engineering bootcamp) and I’m feeling kinda emotional about it. I’ve gotten to know some of these students pretty well and it will be sad to see them go. Hoping for an early end to the workday and some takeout for dinner.

Praying for you for peace today in medical matters. It always stinks extra when these worries come near a holiday.

Barely tasted jasmine, mostly just tasted like perfume or soap. Not a fan.

The “extra bold” must come from the flavoring and not the tea because this honestly tasted like soap to me. Very astringent aftertaste. Not awful but not good.

Nice balance between the cinnamon and mint. Great with a little honey. A little weak but that may have been due to my tin’s age.

Trying to replace coffee with tea and this is a welcome substitute. Packs an enormous punch. Been feeling my seasonal depression lately and honestly tea has been a great help. I used to chug coffee to stay awake all day. I have been trying to sip my tea mindfully and really taste it. Today I taste wood, leather, smoke, and blueberry. Some vanilla and cream but that might be the milk. It’s going to be a good day.
