Last tea in February 2021, so STATS time!. But first this tea. Another tea from postcrossing.
This tea have wonderful wrapper showing Rialto Bridge in Venice, wonderful glass of cherry-drink.
But this tea is awful.
Really. I think I get the cough syrup notes of you guys. It’s artificial cherry + medicinal background of aroma. Sweet on aroma as well!
And then there is a taste. So sweet. So much stevia in. Why Teekanne, why? Fake, artificial cherry. Hibiscus, written as first => means it should be most prominent ingredient. Maybe it is… but doesn’t deliver any tartness and that lacks here.
Finished half an cup. I don’t like being that negative about teas. But this one gets points only and only for wrapper design.
Let’s hope the stats will make you more happy.

I like the way you break down your tea statistics. That italian tea certainly does not soud like one I would enjoy. Although since my grandparents were born and grew up in Italy I am always anxious to try anything Italian. Still, this one sounds like a hard pass.
Very impressive records of your sip downs, Martin!
Every day you are a step closer to your goals! School and otherwise!
I know, I know White Antlers.
Maddy: Thank you. I like it being simple, but still interesting. Of course I could for example watch the changes between months, but why?
ashmanra: I was mostly finishing the small amount of teas I had saved for last sessions. It’s hard to say good bye to some teas, but it feels good to have it done and having less and less teas every single cup. “School and otherwise” is so right I am trying!
I picked this up thinking it was an herbal tea, its actually a white tea. I tend to avoid actual tea in bagged form. But since I bought it, figured we would review it. Its an ok one. Nice cherry taste, reminds me of a body butter (the scent), it was the wild cherry one From The Body Shop, it tastes the way that smelled if that makes sense. Hint of “tea taste”. Its decent, not a must have but a nice to try one. Im gonna have this last bag with a little sugar.
Flavors: Cherry
Usually cherry teas help me sleep, I don’t notice that with this tea. But it is a nice one, especially when cold. Its a sweet fruity, kinda cherry taste. Like a healthy version of koolaide. I dont find it necessary to add sweetener either so thats always a plus!
Another very old favourite I’m having after many years.
Cream and whiskey aroma, as can be expected. And for an artificial flauvoring it seems pretty natural, warming and pleasant.
Full, malty body slight sweetness.
Not bad for a big company bagged tea.
Flavors: Cream, Irish Cream, Whiskey

I will always search for the apple tea we used to get when I was a child in Turkey along with my parents in their shopping adventures. I believe it was a powder though. I had one that was close… this one is a no. It tastes too green and not apple like enough or just an odd flavor. But I can say I gave it a try. Meh
And this is a cuppa I prepared after snow throwing. It was quite tricky here, trucks have troubles to go uphill, one was stuck for 45 minutes, they wanted to tow it, but was too heavy.
A tea bag received from postcrossing.
It’s pretty much common fruit tea (European) with loads of hibiscus and rosehip and then flavoured as desired. It’s cinnamon heavy too and in taste I do recognize the cloves. If it is plum-flavoured? Wouldn’t tell that on blind tasting.
Not a bad tea. But nothing great as well. Maybe I have been expecting a bit more again. But it is a tea bag, cheap one…
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Fruity, Hibiscus

Another tea that is surprisingly similar to Mesmer. Except I think this one is sweeter with a better aroma. It is very caramel like. And nice with a splash of milk. But one that is easy to get tired of. I loved it on the first cup, but by the last cup I was tired of it. The caramel overpowers the rooibos. Which might be a good thing if you aren’t a fan of Rooibos.
Flavors: Caramel, Cream
I am drinking my last cup of this. I was so excited to try this one with my newfound love for Roobios. It has a nice orange flavor. Not much Roobios, however I just can’t get into it. For some reason I am just not a fan. Could be because I put milk in it at first. Definitely not one that goes well with milk.
Flavors: Bitter, Orange
Strange how Mesmer and Teekaane have such similar flavors. This brand being slightly cheaper. This berry tea is very nice. Smells like a fruity koolaide. Definitely a nice one to have cold. Nice berry taste without a lot of sour. Even decent hot. I said I would repurchase the Mesmer brand, but actually I would save a few pennies and just get this one instead. Easy to drink without sweetener. If you kike berry teas or just want to try more, I would reccomend it.
Flavors: Berry
Is there a difference between the quality of Roobios? I feel like they are all the same. This one taste like any other Roobios. It gets the job done and is cheap.
I really liked this tea! (Another one from Martin – thank u!) A good balance of ginger and lemon. I’m going to have to get some more of this or something similar – probably my favorite caffeine-free tea right now.
Flavors: Ginger, Lemon

Love the smell of this tea. I thought I didn’t like fruit tea, but after this bag it’s growing on me more. Very warm and Christmas-y, not like any fruit tea I’ve had before. Thanks, Martin Bednář, for sending it!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Citrus
I really liked Apple tea from Janat Paris… but not sure what are you actually looking for :)
