quite yummy herbal taste. goes very well with the salty chips i just ate. something in it is kinda strong.
i don’t know its kinda hard for me to separate the ingredients inside this mix. i can just say that all together goes well. i’m sure it would be very good sweetened too…
i like it more than the sweet dreams one. solid rating…
Preparation
My stomach is not on the roll this morning so im starting the day with Sweet dreams :D Just thinking Chamomile will probably help. Luckily is friday. I like to drink this tea just lightly sweetened. It’s very calming…
Preparation
It’s bedtime, I’m sleepy and i haven’t had my cup of tea today. This tea should be made for the occasion…
Color is nice clear yellow – chamomile color.
Smells of chamomile too. It has 32% of chamomile ingredient. Not sure what this balm (36% of this tea) is. Going to peak in the dictionary. OK i found that out but it doesn’t mean much to me lol. Anyways think it will probably taste a lot like chamomile too.
Yep tastes like chamomile. Mostly. But better. It gets sweetish. Really really nice aroma for a tea. Very calming indeed. Would be little better with sugar or honey but I’m not in the mood for it right now.
All together another tea i rather like. And another quite different from the rest.
Preparation
I drink this tea at work quite a bit. I need a caffeine free substitute for my usual habit, since I work at night and wouldn’t be able to sleep if I was still drinking caffeine at 9 at night.
I cannot say I drink this for the taste. It is very tart. I usually just use the same tea bag, leaving it in my cup and adding hot water as I go. I know, I know.. bit of a no-no for good tea. But I actually find the second or third time I pour water over the bag nicer to taste. I mostly look for rosehip as it is good for your skin. If you are into this sort of thing, it isn’t terrible. I just wouldn’t call it great either.
Too lazy to brew loose leaf right now, having woken up a scant 2 hours ago. I really need to stop staying up so late, haha. Anyway, I got this from a German bakery over the Christmas holiday when we were visiting my Dad’s side of the family. I’ve never had just peppermint, I’ve had it in blends before though.
Oh wow, I’m a bit surprised at how dark the brew is. It almost looks like a black tea, but the box says that there’s only peppermint, nothing else. Huh. The taste isn’t spectacular, but it’s nice. Most of the mint flavor is in the aftertaste unless you slurp it, which I don’t tend to do too often. It’s helping to wake me up though, and that’s all I really needed.
Heiße Liebe means “Hot Love” in German. This tea’s description is “Früchtetee mit Himbeer-Vanille Aroma” which means “Fruit tea with raspberry and vanilla flavor.”
The vanilla flavor is very subtle, and compliments the sweet, intense flavor of raspberry. Sweet enough on its own, this tea needs no sweeteners at all. Very, very soothing. I’m enjoying it a lot.
