I bought 25 grams of this tea because I was looking for something to drink in the afternoon/evening while I am studying that would also do my some good. It has a wonderful cinnamon smell and when you steep it there is a nice golden colour.

I have to say I like the flavour, floral with a hint of apple, but it isn’t overly strong. I prefer stronger herbal blends, so I don’t know if I will get anymore of this one. Maybe I just need to add more to my pot, or it might be better iced.

A sweet slice of fall heaven. Tastes like pumpkin pie, particularly good as a latte. The perfect thing to drink in between the summer and winter, as it is starting to bring in the spicy flavours I associate with Christmas without being exactly like them. There is a reason my Davids sold out of it the first week they brought it back. This tea IS fall.

This tea makes everyday a party. It has a delicious rooibos flavor without being too rooibos-y (I don’t know if it is just me, but sometimes I feel rooibos can taste too much like a bush) mixed with vanilla and cream.

I love it in a latte with a bit of agave. I can see how people say it is like Oh Canada, but I like this one a lot better for whatever reason. It is better with milk, I prefer Oh Canada straight.

Caramel and apple deliciousness. This is one of my favorite greens because it diverges from the typical green tea flavour but still has all the green tea goodness.

This is the kettle of my dreams. Easy to use, just push two buttons and it heats up quickly. It also keeps the water warm if you want for 30 mins, which I find handy because I will sometimes forget I have boiled water. Still allows me control in the tea making process.

My love affair with tea began in 2008 when I was living abroad in France. I have since collected teas from all over the world, and enjoy a nice cuppa in the morning. I enjoy mate, black, and herbal tea the best. I am adventuring out a bit into oolong and white teas. Tea is one of my favorite things in the world, and I hope my posts reflect my lighthearted approach to life.

I am a grad student in Ontario where I live with my husband. I study Canadian-American relations and examine Canadian identity through this lens.
