Not sure how many years this tea bag has been kicking around my kitchen for, but it has been a few! I recall really liking it and have searched it out since. Unfortunately, I think this company has been down sizing since that smoothie place bought it. I never understood the buying of a company just to tank it thing, like Starbucks with Teavana. Talbot teas have been harder and harder to find.
I recall really liking this tea, a ripe strawberry flavor with chocolate. I’m getting hints of that in the finish, but the sip is bitter. I steeped for three minutes, so I didn’t expect that. I may have to add some cream to this cup. Now the chocolate flavor is more pronounced in the finish and the strawberry comes in after that. The sip is creamy now, but it seems all the flavor comes after the sip. I love the ease of having decent quality tea in bags for travel needs, but I prefer Lupicia’s chocolate strawberry puer better if the choice is loose leaf, so medium sad to see this go. I do wish I had been able to try all their chocolate teas while they were around.
