I have a wee sachet sample of this one from the order Lexa placed for my gift and I thought I’d finish it off today in preparation for the Earl Grey Cream I order from Camellia Sinensis! Also, Lexa picked me up the perfect teaspoon from B&B, and it really is the perfect amount for our cups! I am now using it interchangeably with a unique spoon we picked up years ago from a wee coastal town at home that always brings my the happiest memories of that day.

Today, this one is slightly more astringent than last time, but it’s not so bad. The bergamot is perfectly toned down with the vanilla flavours and it plays together nicely. I’ve really come to the conclusion that I enjoy (love?) earl grey cream teas!

Also, I gave in and just ordered a few refills from B&B as well.

Last note you were waxing sadness about not placing a B&B anytime soon ;)

Courtney

I know! Then I just closed my eyes and hit “place order” hahaha! But I did significantly reduce my cart, so I feel not so bad.

I built a fantasy cart at Dammann Frères the other day and then deleted it. Because of that, I was able to hit my savings goal for this year.

You like Earl Grey Creme… I’m heading to the post office soon to ship a few boxes of tea out. I can send you a fresh EGC I have sitting around if you want, let me know.

I’ve been building carts, then closing the tab, then building new carts, and closing tabs haha. I ordered CS for $75, then ~$40 for B&B and I felt okay about those two. But no more tea orders for a while for me now!

That’s so sweet of you — I’ll send a message. :)

Two orders?! XD

Courtney

Ahhh, I know (don’t forget the wee order from DF as well)! Then I remembered all the teas coming from you and started to panic, but now I’m just trying to remain calm and just drink all the teas.

Cameron B.

Well the ones from me are only a couple of servings each, those don’t count! ;)

Courtney

I suppose that’s true (though I still need to find space). Hopefully I can at least polish off some of the B&B ones I’m refilling. :)

Can’t wait to hear about the Camellia Sinensis teas, that’s one place that’s been on my list for a while yet I still haven’t ordered.

Courtney

I’m so excited to try them too! :)

Courtney

After the B&B, then Yunnan not placing an order charade, I decided I just wanted to support a Canadian company haha. It was a perfect reason to try Camellia!

I love black tea and this is usually what’s in my mug. I’m also happy to enjoy a cup of green or red rooibos (green preferable to red), herbals, oolongs (unroasted/green and red preferable to roasted), whites, and subtly flavoured greens (mango or pineapple, yum!).

Likes:
Raspberry, strawberry, peach, rhubarb, passionfruit, blackcurrant, redcurrant, fig, and most fruits in general, maple, creaminess, hay, biscuit, lavender, and cacao/dark chocolate.

I enjoy bergamot when paired with flavours that mellow it (Camellia Sinensis Earl Grey Cream is one of my favourites).

Dislikes:
Any smokiness at all, stevia, too much blackberry leaf, rose, jasmine, ginger (except in chai), cinnamon-heavy teas, anything cloying or fake/candy-like.

I’m vegan with an allergy to potatoes, so I avoid any animal products in tea, along with sprinkles as these often have potato starch (I usually just pick them out of blends).
