16 Tasting Notes
First tasting for me of this tea.
Very nice, smooth with distinct sweet, chocolate taste.
The flavors appeared more distinct in the second and third steeps as I raised the temperature of the water and allowed a longer steep time.
Another quality black tea from Teavivre.
Flavors: Chocolate, Honey
Preparation
A fantastic cup of black tea that for me hits all the right notes.
Not as strong with cocoa as Black Pearl but the taste, quality and smoothness of this tea sets it apart.
Flavors: Cocoa, Honey
Preparation
The second jewel of my Teavivre Black Tea Triple Crown. While the cocoa is not as pronounced as in Black Pearl it is present and provides a soothing, smooth cup with a softer touch. Very nice tea and is one of my go to teas.
Preparation
The first crown of my Triple Crown of black tea. Smooth and full of flavor it is a cup that I can enjoy at any time of the day. It is simply a wonderful black tea.
With my 16 ounce infuser and 6-8 balls (dependent upon size), I start at 185F/85C for 2:45 and increase the temperature for progressive steeps and find very nice cups through 3 steeps with the third being at 200F/93C.
