Starting the morning with a lovin’ cup of zhu right. I love this tea.
I have a little time to relax over tea & brekkie with tony, & then I will leap into action. This evening I’ll play 3 church services @ 2 different churches. The first one is at 5 & 7pm. Then I’ll drive across town to do another one at 10:30. I’m grateful that the weather outside is NOT frightful this year. The temps are cool, but not outrageously cold, & no precipitation in the forecast. Harpy HoliDaze!

If I were going to try this and the steepster select black you had yesterday, which would you recommend go first?
I’d go with this one, mainly because it is more accessible. I don’t even know if you can buy the steepster select teas without signing up for the monthly thing. Having only tried the Wuyishan Black 1 time, I can’t really give a comparison, except to say that Zhu Rong is more of a dark chocolate type & Wuyishan was more fruity, but they were both delicious. I love this tea immensely. I try not to compare teas to one another too much because I’m just a girl (ok…a middle aged woman, but a girl at heart) who loves her teas, & I love a lot of teas, not always for the same reasons. I quit ranking teas because who am I to determine a number grade, if you know what I mean?
I just re-read your question…if you are talking about trying them back to back…like one right after the other…I wouldn’t have a clue, lol.
Yes, I have both teas sitting in a bag on the table because I brought them on holiday. I will take your advice anyway because I definitely have more zhu rong than wuyishan. I rank teas for my own preferences so I remember for the next time I drink or am looking to buy tea because my memory is shit. I asked you because I am also a bitter super taster and we have similar thoughts on some black teas although your palate is more discerning than mine. Thank you for your thoughts on fruity vs chocolatey though.
