Tea of the afternoon…..

This one is pretty good. It is nice to have a variation on Earl Grey every now and then. The blueberry is in balance with the bergamot, and both are present but not overpowering. The presentation is very pretty with the orange peels and flower petals. I think it will take a few more tries before I have a good read on it, but will go with a tentative rating for now.

24 oz teapot, 6 actual tsp tea, freshly boiled water, 4 minutes. Lightly sweetened.

I have long added a pinch of blueberry tea to my Earl Grey Creme so I was excited to check this one out. I love the twist of the blueberry with the Earl Grey. The black tea base was nice and rich. My issue with it is that the bergamot is a little stronger than I prefer. Still tasty and worth consideration.

Time for another tea! My scarf is almost done, but I’ve decided to make another after this. Thank you to JennyFur for this tea. I love earl grey teas, so I have high hopes.

I steeped this one at boiling for 4 minutes. I ended up using about 3 teaspoons for 16 oz. I only steep 16 oz at a time, so I just decided to use the whole sample bag thing.

First sip:
Very nice! So smooth. It isn’t too harsh and isn’t overwhelmed with flavor. It is a good balance between the flavor and the actual tea. There is no bitter flavor at all.

Finishing off the cup:
I am very happy with this one! The flavor was so refreshing and not too heavy. Really solid tea. It knew what it was. I loved this.

Overall, I loved this tea. I won’t be buying it any time soon though because I have so many earl grey teas to finish off. I will keep it in mind if I ever end up running out of earl x).

I liked it a lot, but not as an earl variation, can’t taste the bergamot, but it’s tangy & floral. I bet iced is great. The black base is nice, but I need to brew it a little less time, a little too strong with 5:30 minutes. Quite yummy

OMG! I made this way too strong! Dumping half the cup and refilling with water in an attempt to try to save it. I added a little sugar. The orange flavor is dominating. There are a ton of orange peels in this. I’m not able to pick out the blueberry. Not wowing me.
