From Mandala Tea

This beautiful green tea is a handmade masterpiece. Premium grade green tea leaves are scented with natural jasmine flowers that create a soothing aromatic experience while enjoying this tea. The leaves are shaped like pearls which are each formed by hand. It is a joy to watch the leaves unfurl as they steep. This is an extremely unique tea that produces a satisfying cup. It is a thoughtful gift and an interesting experience to share with guests.

We source such incredible jasmine pearls that several tea shops buy from us saying they’ve never found better jasmine pearls anywhere!

Swap Sample Sipdown! (65)

Another one from Kawaii433!

Yum, these are really good! I’m practically gulping down my mug-full…

Overall flavor is sweet and smooth with a lovely fresh jasmine flavor. There’s also a nice mellow apricot note from the green tea, but otherwise the jasmine is the star. This tea has a nice refreshing quality to it that tells me it would be great as a cold brew.

Unbelievably sweet! And there’s an almost creamy quality here as well. It’s not often I go back for a second steep when I brew Western-style, but I definitely will for this one.

Yum yum yum. Fresh, fruity, jasmine, delicious! ❤

Yay you liked this one! :D

Sil

these are great….not as awesome as the original pearls, but still delicious

Definitely delicious! I have several jasmine green tea (pearl and otherwise) samples from TeaVivre to try. Hopefully some of them are this tasty, too!

Sipdown on this one. Been working on trying to finish all my green teas. Wrong type of tea to stock up on lol.

Quick additional note on this one (already wrote a review on it). If you like jasmine tea, these pearls are definitely the one to stock up on. Because they are so tightly rolled, they remained fresh. The tea is so buttery smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. As I said in my first note, there is zero soapy taste. No artificial nor perfumey aftertaste just the fresh taste of perfect floral jasmine. Today (gongfu style) the stonefruits, particularly apricot came out in the middle steeps and blended so well with the jasmine. Highly recommended if you’re drinking Jasmine tea for flavor or health and are turned off by the overly perfumed aroma of others.

Yeah, this is great jasmine tea. Thanks again for sharing some with me.

Well, that sounds like a good jasmine tea. How hard is getting them there :/

Kawaii433

Derk, you’re very welcome.

Martin, Mandala has it in stock.

Smells exactly like a jasmine flower. Smells like perfume. Tastes like a honeysuckle. NO need for added sugar whatsoever. Love it! Incredible flavor. Light yellow color.

I received this tea as part of the Tea Party sampler from Mandala Tea. I don’t exactly hate the smell of jasmine but I certainly don’t particularly like it. I had very low expectations for this tea but since I’m on journey to expand my tea knowledge I was prepared to give it a fair shot.

Okay, so while I wasn’t too impressed with the smell of this tea the taste was pleasantly surprising. It’s buttery smooth, the jasmine is very subtle, and there are some delicate floral notes. After 4 steepings I can’t tell if the jasmine smell has decreased significantly or if I’ve just grown accustomed to it. I do find this tea very relaxing.

AMAZING! Beautiful light color, has a floral smell and is smooth and relaxing.

For the first couple steepings, you will taste jamine, but in later steepings there is a grassier taste. THE BEST TEA I HAVE EVER TASTED

I enjoyed my sample of this. It was super mild, so those who fear jasmine might love this. I personally found it a bit too mild for me. I liked the perfume, but the actual tea itself took a backseat even still. Definitely enjoyable though.

This is a wonderful tea. It is not like drinking a cupful of flowers. It’s delicate, sweet, floral of course, but not overbearing and absolutely no bitterness. The flavor lasts through several steeps. Would definitely purchase this again.

Thanks to Mandala for the sample :)
I love jasmine green teas and this is no exception. Unlike other phoenix pearls that I have had, these are not over-scented with jasmine, creating a smooth, floral flavor. These are much better than other pearls that I’ve had!

The flavor profile of this tea is quite good, sweet and fragrant. The aroma of the dry leaves is positively enticing, it is incredible. Sometimes Jasmine Tea smells far better than it tastes. This one tastes nearly as good as it aroma suggests. I bought a one ounce sample of this and may buy more with my next order, or at least the next time Mandala has a sale.

I brewed this once in an 18 oz teapot with 2.25 tsp leaf and 175 degree water for 1 min.

This is a great version of Dragon Phoenix Pearls. The intensity is a 8 out of 10 but it uses rolled buds and has some of the jasmine flower present. Its very high quality, the only way you could beat this, is if you consumed it the day it was processed in China. Unless you want to travel to China this won’t be beaten.
I use the gaiwan and do multiple infusions (4-8 seeps). I find it best to infuse longer than the traditional gaiwan formula, like 2 minutes per infusion. I still experiment with the timing.
Great for detoxing and special occasions.
