I hope to find something similar to this soon! I really enjoyed the lemon flavor in this. I’m not normally a lemon fan but this one was sort of a creamy vanilla lemon with the nice breadiness from the muffin. This last cup still had enough flavor to be a satisfying farewell!
this one is another sample from VariaTEA – i quite enjoyed this one, though apparently not as much as her :) I liked that this was a lemon tea with a great black base. It was just lemongrass city, which i haven’t been a fan of lately. I didn’t quite get “muffin” out of it but i really loved the base + lemon, sort of vanilla pairing that came though. thanks VariaTEA!

I’m a little bit disappointed that I didn’t seem to have as amazing of an experience with this tea as either VariaTEA or Kittenna did – it’s not that I thought it tasted bad at all, but it just didn’t have a lot of distinctness in the delivery of the flavour apart from the lemon notes – which were average, at best. Nothing that reminded me of muffins or poppyseed at all. I predict it’ll fall into the category of “teas that I don’t remember trying in the long term”…

As for this tea, its one of the oldest in my stash and I have a lot of it but once it is gone it is gone. That’s sad because this is spot on for a lemon poppyseed muffin, the bright yellow one bursting with citrus flavor and topped with a vanilla glaze. It’s accurate and delightful and just what I needed.

Thank you. I’ve been using DevaCurl samples and Mizani Miracle Milk but I’ve ordered a bunch of other products to try because I read reviews that the Devacurl didn’t help much with frizz. I figured I’d try other things before committing to more
Love that! I don’t use a curly specific shampoo (I use Calia), but I do have curly products (we both love Innersense).
I love bakey, cakey lemon flavors, too. My two frontrunning suggestions for substitutes would be Tazo’s Glazed Lemon Loaf and CuppaGeek’s Lemon Swirl (it has a green tea base).
