A little bitter today, but I steeped it too long I think. I added a little extra honey to smooth it out and that seems to be working. There’s a nice chocolate flavor coming through. I heard this one was discontinued and I would normally be pretty sad about that, but it’s a second to my treasured Nepal Black which DT still carries. Thank goodness for reliable favorites in these unreliable times.
I’m really missing the cream I normally add, but I’m out so I added some whole milk instead. I think most people use milk instead of cream (is that right?), but I guess I like my tea a little over the top. Like a thinner hot chocolate. I just love it. Anyway, my husband and I have been avoiding the grocery store and purchasing everything either online or at our weekly farmers market so I’m hoping to find a good source for cream there. Fingers crossed.
We are so fortunate that we’re able to do this and that our market has worked out a drive thru system with the farmers. Our local farmers and vendors are amazing! We have access to fresh baked bread and fresh picked produce, plus cheeses and honey and jam.
I’m just feeling really, really grateful.
I hope everyone here is doing well and taking some time to relax and enjoy the day. It’s beautiful here so I’m soaking it in.

Not sure how accessible DT is to you, but sounds like the new Thailand Black might be right up your alley!
It’s in my cart! I’m hoping for Blueberry Jam to make a reappearance in the shop soon and then I’m getting both! I’m also planning to try Honey Black. I can’t remember if you told me about that one or someone else, but I’ve heard it’s a good one too.
Derk, it’s such a cool setup! You prepay online through the vendors’ websites then go during the set time. They block the street and put the vendors/farmers in the middle so they have two lines going. You drive thru until you reach your vendors, show them your name on a piece of paper, open your trunk, and they load everything in for you with gloves. It makes me feel so much better about going out, plus I’m able to support some of the local businesses who might be struggling otherwise.

That market sounds amazing! I am very jealous.
Nattie, it really is wonderful! We are so lucky to have it.
Blueberry Jam is back in the US shop! Just placed my order for 4 oz of the stuff, plus some Thailand Black and Honey Black. If for some really strange reason I don’t like it, I’ll send you the rest in the tea box. :)
