This is the best David’s Tea I’ve been to in the sense that I am starting to know the people who work there, and they are very knowledgeable about their tea. The staff are also very aware of social media and can recite something written by David’s that day on command. The sitting area in the store is awesome as well, and in the summer they open the windows (which are really the walls) and it’s the nicest place in the city. I live close enough that I can walk, but if you must drive to get there, opt for one near the mall where there is more parking/parking you don’t have to pay for.

I absolutely love David’s Tea and this location is one of the best I’ve ever been to. Even if it’s busy the staff are quick to offer you a sample and never make you feel rushed or pressured when choosing teas. All of the staff are wonderful and have been known to offer free cups of tea to stressed students and first time customers. They’re also all very knowledgable and have been great about providing advice for gifts. Thanks to everyone who works at the Spring Garden David’s Tea for making it such a pleasant place to visit!

I love this location. If I can, I go to this one vs. the other one`s in town. I find that the employees here are really knowledgeable and reccomend great teas to try. They are also very friendly and this location is never SUPER busy so you tend to get served very quickly!

My go-to spot, close to my work. I seem to stop in here for a new bag to try every week.
One girl helped me with Matcha, and demonstrated how to prepare it. Very nice, they take their time to help you.

I have been hearing a lot about David’s Tea ever since joining Steepster, and I must say that I became very curious about it. Not having any in the U.S., I was incredibly excited to learn that there are a few in Halifax, which was on my itinerary during a recent vacation. I can’t tell you about the tea itself yet, since I haven’t quite made it as far as brewing a pot, but the design of the store itself is what blew me away. It was so modern and young looking with bright colors and a lovely, minimalist space. No wonder why it has converted so many young people to tea! I also ogled all of the delicious tea-ware, including a gorgeous glass thermos and tiny tea tumblers. I don’t know when I’ll next make it to a physical store, but I definitely plan on frequenting their webpage.

I absolutely love going to this store. The staff is very enthusiastic and friendly. It’s a very personal level when they deal with you, but more on a friend level than “business”. There’s always lots to see and find so I try to stop by often!

My go-to locale for DT, since it’s more convenient. Not much to say about it…If you’ve ever been to a David’s Tea then you know what they are all like: a wall of tea, staff who love it and will enthusiastically convince you to smell everything. Too much focus (from the company, I would assume) on encouraging people to try EVERYTHING, but it’s not a hard sell. I like the staff, I love the tea. I’ve never sat in for a tea (a bit too commercial for relaxation, much as I love it) but I do have loads and loads at home.

EDIT: I have actually sat in for a tea a couple times in the past few months and actually really like to do so, despite how very small the seating area is. In the summer, the big front window was open and it was neat to sit there with my tea and still feel involved with the world. I had a chat with a little girl in a stroller and patted a dog while enjoying tea – How much better can it get?
