drank Raspberry Banana Honeybush by 52teas
1220 tasting notes

Ok I got distracted because I had to make this hummus: http://www.cookincanuck.com/2012/11/creamy-curry-hummus-recipe-healthy-snack/ Hummus is way too terrifyingly easy to make especially now that I know I can get a jar of tahini for a more reasonable $6. (This one does not include any tahini which is why I like it.)

Still lukewarm, this is great. Mostly banana, still enough raspberry. I actually think I may like it better cold, I’ll have to give it a try. It seems like as it cools off, it gets creamier.

All around it’s a nice sweet drink.

Looks delicious! I should learn how to make my own hummus- I eat enough of it

Yes! It’s so easy, the most expensive thing you’ll need is tahini but there are plenty of recipes that don’t use it, though it’s probably a good thing for a more authentic hummus. Just a can of chickpeas, some olive oil, whatever spices and throw it all in a food processor!

My favorite hummus recipe is a Weight Watchers one that uses plain yogurt, chickpeas, olive oil/lemon/spices as usual. Tahini optional, but I never use it. It’s so good!

That sounds amazing! I hadn’t realized that hummus was such an easy and cheap recipe. :)

Kittenna, what proportions do you use for this? I would like to try this! If you get a chance, can you post or pm me the recipe?
