The dry tea smells of peppermint and chocolate (just like in Love Tea #7, the only other chocolate tea I’ve tried so far), and it’s pretty strong even with this cold I just developed. I didn’t actually see any peppercorns (and for these teas I usually open the bags to let some air in, close them and shake them up a bit to make sure the ingredients are mixed throughout before I dive in) , but that’s ok. I steeped this for like 4 minutes and added a bit of milk plus a tiny tiny dash of sugar. It tastes so smooth and would definitely be a perfect dessert tea, but I don’t think I’ll save this tea just for special occasions. It’s so good! Especially feeling how I do right now, it’s very soothing and delicious. And each sip is a little bit different it seems. Sometimes I taste the mint + vanilla, sometimes the mint + chocolate, and sometimes just the mint or chocolate.

I got myself a bag of this recently, to kind of stock up for the colder months ahead. I think peppermint is amazing when you don’t feel well – whether it’s an upset stomach, sore throat, cold, headache. It’s good on a cold day, and it’s refreshing on a hot day!
It’s good for making other drinks with as well, and getting creative. My bf and I made hot chocolates the other day, and I steeped some of this in my cup for a few minutes for a peppermint hot chocolate :). We both loved it and we’re definitely making it again next time. And last night I made some straight peppermint ‘tea’ to soothe my stomach, just steeped for a couple minutes and cooled enough to sip. It totally did the trick, and the relief is instant.
This is such a good ‘tea’ to have around, because it can be used so many different ways, and peppermint is just an all around good thing!
