12 Tasting Notes

This tea wasn’t bad. I can’t say anything I didn’t like about it in particular. The only problem I do have with it is that it’s very, very ordinary. It’s like the base taste of a tea without any of the excitement. Which is exactly what it’s suppose to be! Original black tea. Judging it on that and not on flavor blend, I’d say this is a good one. If I’m ever looking for plain black tea I won’t hesitate to look here. But will I brew this tea for breakfast? Probably not – I’ll save that space for a more exciting blend.

This could possibly be one of the worst tasting teas I’ve had – ever. I don’t know what it is, it could very possibly be just me. But I can’t even finish a glass of this! Which is sad, because I bought a box I now have no use for. Something about the citrus and this almost burnt green flavor, I just can’t. Sorry to all the people who really like this one, but I guess not all teas work for all people. I have a box up for grabs, if anyone wants to trade.

I’m really happy with this one! When you’re drinking it, you can taste the peppermint and almost like a chai flavor. After that though, you can feel that chilling sensation on your throat. I love that you don’t have to taste the Menthol while you’re drinking it, only after. I had been a fan of the Breathe Easy by Traditional, but now this one’s my favorite.

I’m such a fan! Drinking this you can taste just as much chai as you can green. And then there’s this cinnamon every now and then — very stubble. Again with Republic of Tea, a very light flavor overall. But soo good! I tried this at a friend’s but planning on getting some for myself.

The Republic of Tea has good blends, but none are usually my favorite in their category. Except for this one — this is my favorite Earl Grey EVER. It’s remarkably smooth, that’s the first thing I notice, and it’s not overpowering like the other types I’ve tried. Well done Republic of Tea! I’m in love with this one!

A favorite tea for colds so far.

I like how this one has such a sweet aftertaste. When I saw “breathe easy”, I automatically thought bitter, sharp flavors to open up sinuses. But this one did the trick without that, so I was happy about that:) The only thng I wasn’t a fan of was how it eventually tastes sort of bland…even though it is sweet, it’s very light and there’s not much to it than that. Overall though, I’ll enjoy the box I have but probably won’t reorder.

Even though Lipton isn’t usually a favorite of mine because it can deliver a plain cup of tea, this one was okay. I was pleasantly surprised about the cinnamon— it’s common for some blends to over do it. But this one was good. I may not buy it again, but I’m happy with the box I bought.

I’m not the hugest fan of fruit teas, but this one was awesome! It’s a great idea to blend fruit with green, it gets rid of the tart flavor I usually can’t stand.
The first think I notice is that it’s a very light tea, and that if you over brew it it can taste burnt quickly. But this is great to just have as a light tea, I’m a fan overall.

I was expecting a tart tea, but this one pleasantly surprised me! It’s actually very smooth and sweet. As with most republic of teas I’ve had, it’s not super strong. But it’s perfect for just a light flavored green tea.

This is probably one of my favorite teas ever to have iced. And it’s green tea too, so that’s nice. I’m not usually a fan of iced green tea, but this one’s great!

One of the smoothest teas I’ve ever had!

When I’m not in the mood for something with really bold flavor but I still want a good taste, this is the tea I choose. I think it’s awesome when tea companies can get the smoothness just perfect on a blend, and I can definitely say that about this one. Such a favorite, it’s a taste I can never get tired of :)
