This is a nice ripe with a creamy mouthfeel and a reasonable amount of sweetness. I enjoy it.

This is a good sweet shou, fairly light, occasional woody notes, overall very good.

This is a good young sheng. No bitterness, mild astringency, lots of vegetal flavors in a good way. Like it, hope to see it develop nicely.

For me this was a fairly basic shou, typical shou flavors, nothing remarkable, no off flavors.

Got this from the June 2018 W2T club box. This has some classic black tea flavor with a good bit of floral taste and aroma. It is there in a nice way, but punching you in the face, just there for your enjoyment. I like this tea, but I won’t be trying to get more.

This is an excellent tea. It is very good gongfu style. There is plenty of sweetbess and I get a strong lemon flavor. Lasts through many infusions.

This is a pretty solid ripe. Not the most fancy, but it has some nice flavor to it. There is some pleasant bitterness to it, so I think it will age well.

This is an interesting tea. Highly compressed tuo, so it was hard to get good leaves off of it. It had strong tobacco notes and a good amount of astringency and bitterness, with some green flavor to it. Not bad, but I think this is one that could use more tine aging. I think it is in an awkward spot for age where it’s still green but has strong aged flavors. Need some of that to mellow out and meld together.

This tea is so good. Nice and floral and fruity up front. A real pleasant tea to drink. If you like Darjeeling, you will like this. I went with 205F and 2 minutes for my first steep, and it is wonderful. I should be able to get two more steeps out of it at least.
