WHAT A TREAT!!!!
I got this sample from Laurent at Nina’s Paris and was I ever glad I chose this one. I love genmaicha and I am trying to enjoy black tea more. This tea does not really remind me much of genmaicha as it is more sweet and rich. Almost reminds me of coconut bread or something along those lines. The vanilla and caramel make the scent of this tea intoxicating. I think this would be great to sip after dinner with dessert…I chose to try it at work because I could not wait until I got home to try it ;) I wish it was a bigger sample pack so I could drink it all week.

Mmmm, Genmaicha!! This tea reminds me of my fave sushi house in Northern BC. It is very good with any meals with fish. I wish it had a little more actual tea and less rice but that is just personal preference. Also its pretty good on the 2nd and 3rd re-steep. I was skeptical because the rice kinda goes soggy like Rice Krispies left in milk too long…..But I was wrong. I can sip this tea all day. Worth a try if you are at a Davids Tea.

I recently got a box of this for my birthday and have had a few cups since. It is actually quite tasty I think. I dont know if I would buy it myself, but I am happy I got it. Smells great and has some cinnamon flavor but not overwhelming. I am not sure if I like Black Tea yet….a few more atstings and I may change my rating. Also decent for the price.

I have a love hate relationship with this tea. I bought about 150g about a moth month ago when I started drinking tea and loved it for the first while. Then things changed and my love affair with the tea ended. however last night I decided to make a cup and it was delicious!!! Light, vegetal….the way it should be. Not bitter at all.

I am very new to tea. my wife bout me this tea at Teavana. It smells very strong but very nice. The cinnamon and spicy pepper notes really come out. I usually steep for a bit longer than recommended and its perfect. I also usually re steep at least once and it is still very tasty.

Just started to enjoy tea and cannot wait to dive further and further into this wonderful world.

My NEW RATING SYSTEM!!!!!

100-93 BAZINGA, This is Unreal. I can drink this forever and MUST have it in my cupboard at all times. I may even drink it out of one of those beer helmets with the two straws…its that good!

92-85 A must have, Maybe even willing to share with friends. not quite the perfect tea

84-76 Probably daily drinker but not necessarily a staple/must have. A tasty treat none the less

75-65 Good decent tea, perhaps just missing a little something

64-50 Drinkable but thats about it. Definitely not buying this again.

49-00 Bad, depending on the number it is ranked depends on just how bad it is. If someone shares a tea ranked this low with you, you have done something wrong or are not that persons friend.
