Made a big old pitcher of this iced right before bed only to realize as my head hit the pillow that I used twice as much leaf as I should have. Sigh… So I decided to do my best to remedy this by adding 50% more water (as much as I could fit in the pitcher).
Tried it this morning and it seems not to have suffered. Strawberry notes are much more dominant iced in a very strawberries and cream kind of way. This is basically what I wanted Strawberry Fields to be like when DT came out with that a few springs ago (as opposed to the monstrosity it was). All in all, this is good cold but I find it more complex hot, with more tart notes to contrast the fruity. I shall enjoy the rest hot (after I finish off this pitcher that is).

Strawberry Fields was aweful when I tried it hot. But I decided to give it another go as a latte and it was great. Still gotta watch the steep time though.
I think I tried it about every way I could think of and, while some ways were better than others, I just couldn’t get into it.
