drank Mango Lassi by DAVIDsTEA
326 tasting notes

This was one of my first purchases at David’s Tea. Having a true love for the Indian drink, I just couldn’t resist. Sadly I should have known better, as I’ve never been a fan of camomile. I also ended up buying way more of this than I should have—about 75g compared to my typical 25g if I haven’t tried a tea before.

Despite it’s camomile base, this tea has grown on me as I slowly try to deplete my supply. It’s certainly not a go-to, but if I want a herbal tea that isn’t overpoweringly fruity this is a nice option; which was exactly what I was in the mood for tonight.

The camomile really stands out over everything else. There’s a pleasing hint of vanilla as well. Sadly, the mango doesn’t stand out as much as I would like.

I’m curious to try this one as a latte (which was initially my plan for this evening until I realized there was no milk). I attempted it once but failed to use enough tea. Still plenty of this left so I’m sure I’ll get the chance eventually…
