The Tea Girl

yum. long day…more another day.

Had this one the other day and it wasn’t half bad. Certainly better than the other strawberry rhubarb pie that i had the other day. That being said, i miss my butiki strawberry rhubarb :(

turns out while i love the vanilla flavouring that the tea girls uses, i do NOT like the coconut. So this one could have been really delicious even though it’s a white tea, but didn’t work for me. That being said, others might find this really delightful!

Fan of this one. Apparently i am enjoying the caramel and vanilla flavouring that tea girl uses. It hit the spot perfectly this afternoon in the midst of a chaotic day.

Sample from the tea girl. I hate green/black blends and i’m not a fan of floral blends. didn’t bode well for this tea. Funnily enough…this one isn’t bad. The floral is super light and something about this vanilla is really tasty.

Free sample from the tea girl. I don’t drink a lot of green teas. I sometimes find a few that i enjoy but because i so rarely want a green tea, it’s not worth it for me to buy many. Especially since butiki is no more. Pineapple greens are my favourite. this tea smells amazing. Drinking it, the pineapple taste is less than the aroma but still present. the bancha is a little drying for me though.

Sample from the tea girl. I picked this one out i think lol I found this one to be a really nice rooibos blend. It IS maple-y and also pumpkin AND doesn’t have that woody rooibos flavour that i don’t like. It is very sweet though, but that’s almost a given with maple flavouring. :)

Sample from the tea girl that i picked. Sadly i think this one is probably better as a cold brew. I liked the fruit flavours that were coming through, but i think with a little sweetner and as a cold brew this would really shine.

Another sample from the Tea Girl. Didn’t really like this one. I’m picky about my coconut and this blend has the type i’m not a fan of. Also, not sure about the base teas. So overall a miss for me. Happy drinking variaTEA lol

Not a tea i’d have picked for myself but one of the surprise hits of my order so far. A few extra samples made their way in to the order for which i’m grateful for since they’re teas i wouldn’t have picked for myself but i’m open to trying. This had a particularly nice vanilla taste to it – one of the stronger vanilla flavours i’ve had in a bit. and, as a positive for ME, it wasn’t overly oolongy. Often that typical green oolong taste comes through and in this case it wasn’t really there. Other half of the sample is off to variaTEA!

rest of this is off for variaTEA and roswell to share. Not the hugest fan of this one..ig et a lot of roasted oolong + some “chocolate” like flavour. not really orange chocolate though

Not sure how i feel about this one, will keep trying. It’s very subtle – probably more so than i want it to be lol
