Backlogging. Sunday the 19th = my 30th birthday!! Happy birthday to me!
Out for a fancy dinner, dessert, and drinkies the night before with my two best girl friends, I wasn’t feeling the greatest the next morning. So a plain Ceylon for me was tasty and soothing. I had been planning on drinking something special but felt I should save it for when I was feeling better and better able to enjoy it. This Ceylon has always reminded me of a nicer, better quality version of the standard black bagged teas my dad used to make me when I was sick. Just one steep with a bowl of cereal with raspberries and almond milk.

Thanks everybody!! It’s been pretty good being 30 so far. =)
Caitlin ~~ I just recently discovered almond milk and I am loving it. I made stovetop chai with it this morning (tealog to come, but not tonight).
LiberTeas ~~ We celebrated for 3 days (3 for 30!!). On Sunday, my mom cooked. A roasted garlic and rosemary leg of lamb, herb roasted potatoes, cold salads (dill pea, Moroccan carrot, cranberry zucchini, and Waldorf). And drinkies, of course. My fav cake for dessert – four thick spongy layers with a Kahlua and Frangelico bath, two with cream filling and one with chocolate, and dark chocolate frosting.
Steph, LL, and Azure ~~ Go Virgos! My cousin Matt’s birthday is the same day as yours, LL. My b-i-l’s birday is two days after mine.
Wow that cake sounds amazing! It also sounds like it would go good with a cup of plain black tea – mmmm. Also I have never made chai with almond milk but I have to try that! Its awesome in smoothies!

Oddly, I do not like the texture of it in smoothies. Although, I find milk, yogurt, and soy milk to be fine.
