I had a small sample of this from the lovely Marzipan. I found the fruity black to be quite satisfying and I would jump at the chance to have more if the opportunity ever arose. Unfortunately, I had this juicy tea a while back and have forgotten much of it’s finer details. Thus I am leaving off a rating at this time. I do remember enjoying it though. :)

Farewell little marshmallow delight! I think this tea was such a great example of the base of a tea and the flavourings complimenting each other. I enjoyed each cup I had of this. One of my top 52 Teas blends via Frank.

Succulent, juicy, tropical fruit magic! I absolutely MUST remove at least another cup of this gem before I pass the TTB on this weekend. This fruit blend tea has several different fruity pieces that make up it’s bulk. I taste primarily Coconut and pineapple with a creaminess that must come from the coconut. I didn’t taste any of the hibiscus which others have, but I will agree with them as to the pina colada-esque flavour! I am very sad now that when Zen tea had that special steepster sale I didn’t have the funds to take advantage of their generous offer. :(
Anyway, if you get the chance to try this and you enjoy pina coladas I cannot recommend this tea enough!!

So… what are your thoughts on trying this turned into a slushy ice? :)

Thanks sounds phenomenal Nicole! Scrumptious ;)

I don’t think there is any hibiscus in this one… but I’m glad you love it. :D

drank Christmas Afternoon by Twinings

Received about 2 cups worth with a purchase from the lovely TheLastDodo! I do believe it originally must have come from MissB though, due to the bag it was in, and the writing on said bag. It was an alright black, not astringent or bitter. I think most of the “Christmas Cake” flavours have dissipated from the leaf though, unfortunately. I did get a nice hinting of vanilla at the end of the sip, but that is really all. The 2 cups I had of this were pleasant, but I would be interested to see what a newer sample would taste of.

Thanks again TheLastDodo! :)

I was not as impressed as most are with this tea. I found it primarily tasted of roasted oolong with a slight mineral tone blended with hojicha. I had only a faint apple taste at the front of the sip, and no caramel flavour what so ever. Oh well. I drank a few cups of this and will be adding the rest of this into the Here’s Hoping Traveling Tea Box. It appears most people really enjoy it so hopefully it was be appreciated by someone else. :)

This tea will be missed! It was nice for the days at work when I forgot to bring my tea infuser. I used 2 bags for about 12/14 ounces of water. It had a nice plum, blueberry, black currant flavour. The black tea paired well with it and I found it tolerated a slight over steep very well also. It was a good teabag to have around. Farewell friend.

drank Thai Chai by Adagio Teas

Not much about this was notable. I think I could detect a light lemongrass flavour. I added honey and almond milk and it was good enough. Nothing amazing. Just okay. I wouldn’t seek it out, but if offered I wouldn’t turn it away either.

This is a creamy, toasty coconut-y chai. I enjoyed both steeps that I had of this. The first I added some honey and almond milk to it which was really yummy. I felt that the chai & coconut flavours were spot on and mated with the black tea very well. It was a cup of comfort really. The second steep was slightly less coconut and cream flavoured but still a nice chai blend with a hint of coconut. I’d have it again if offered. :)

drank Minty Creme Brulee by Tealated

While this tea does not taste like creme brulee at all to me, I found that I enjoyed it anyway. It was a pleasant combination of minty vanilla flavour. It had a certain light creaminess, from the vanilla I think, that I liked. Only occasionally could I detect any rooibos flavour, and it wasn’t overpowering when I did. I steeped this twice and was pleased with both infusions. I’d recommend any mint lover to give it a go.

I think this is the tea I just tried. It was a mottled blend of several flavours. I think they didn’t compliment each other well because I could distinguish none in the 2 cups I had. It was like a soup in which the flavours all meld together and turn into something else. Not bad per se, but not good either. Sort of meh.

Retrogamer, tea enthusiast, and all around geeky gal. Let’s have a spot, shall we?

I enjoy most black, green, white, oolong (not too mineral-y), rooibos (green too), and various herbal teas. Oh, & I love guayusa. :}

My most searched for flavours include coconut, maple, melon, lychee, pumpkin, and ANYTHING reminiscent of cake. but I am open to try just about anything. I am not too fond of exceptionally fake tasting peach, grape, or lemon flavours, or Earl Grey teas either.

I have no allergies or food sensitivities.
