Well, I’m only using one pearl/ball, because I don’t have many in this sample, and didn’t want to waste any. So far, it’s got a woodsy aroma. It’s a familiar scent, subtle yet present.

Taste…crap. I mean, crap, I should have used two balls here. I can vaguely detect some of the chocolate that others have mentioned, but I just didn’t give it enough oomph here. As I sip through to the bottom of the cup, it is a naturally sweet tea, and not too bad. Next time, for my 6 oz. cup, I’m going with the standard 2 ball steep.

I usually put several balls (i.e.>2) since they are so tiny. It does have a strong taste: some people love it, some not so much.

Hmmmm…Ok. Full disclosure. I’m a rookie, a noob, a novice, a padawan…whatever. I’ve just started to drink teas that are not bagged and sold by Lipton. So, with a grain of salt, believe me when I say this is good, fancy tea! It steeps really dark (bag recommends 5-8 min., so I went for about a 6.5 minute steep), and smells like a chrysanthemum, mixed in with some very sweet smells…a little floral, on top of the chrysanthemum. The taste, at first, was a bit generic. But as I let it coat my tongue and go down the hatch…wow. It is really lively. Not spicy or overly strong, but just…bright? It’s kind of heavy, as I finish the cup, so it’s not something I’d drink 4 cups of in a setting. But, this is a delicious tea. I may have to get some more for me and my Jedi tea master friend.

I was hopeful this wouldn’t be bad, as my mom picked it up from a discount department store.

I’ve never tasted a cocktail of pond water and kerosene…but those are the flavors I think I’m picking up. I may put the rest of the bags in with the garden mulch. However, I fear I may kill the friendly worms that help our soils.

Hmmmm…not what I was hoping for as I entered in this tea’s information to the database. It’s not a BAD tea, but I’m not really picking up on much more than the standard black tea, other than a hint of chocolate and some bergamot as well. Not bad, but not as good as some of the other Kingsman teas from Adagio.

A delightful, safe tea. Citrus and a bit of spice seem to make up most of the taste. Easy to drink quick…but not bland.

This definitely was a berry tea, but leaned more towards a cranberry taste than blueberry. Still, it was light, refreshing, and very good. Not a bitter leaf in the infuser, and a little apple flavor as it settled in.

So, this was a light, fruity tea, but a bit of a disappointment. It wasn’t a bad cup, but I probably should have added more or steeped it longer (it was a 5 minute steep). My very educated tea mentor mentioned that I should have done one of the two things just mentioned…I should have listened. I did add a little sugar, and it seemed to spruce it up a bit. Overall, I’ll finish the sample, but not go back to this particular flavor (convenient, since Teavana is out of business).

Mixed with a bit of sugar, and very good. The raspberry jumped out first, but it kind of had a bit of a chocolate flavor after a bit. Very tasty. Watch the caffeine on this one. :)

Ok, so my first review here is this tea. It’s pretty good, but maybe a little generic on the taste. Nothing really jumps out at me. I feel like I’d finish the cup wherever I was, but would probably need to blend it with something that has a stronger finish to it. It isn’t a bad tea, but may just need more steeping time for me. But then again, I am a neophyte to the tea world, so take my review with a grain of salt….or half a shaker.
