I’m going to work on tasting the finer points of teas, so this is devoid of that- but: I think I’m finding I’m not much of an herbal tea type. What this tea most reminds me of is chamomile tea; many love it, but- I don’t get a lot from it. It lacks the punch or grassiness of, say, green teas- it is clear, smooth, easy, but- not necessarily my cup of tea, haha. Perhaps it’ll grow on me.

Interesting flavor- hard to put a finger on any one of them (I’m a noob, lol). I taste the dry leaf, though, or atlas smell it; roasted sweet potato is a bit tough but I can get it a little. Overall- not bad. Good to give a try. Non-astringent.

I think I’m finding that I dislike or have a lower tolerance for flowery/fruity teas. I thought this was tart, kind of bitter… I have a friend who loves it though, and so does her daughter :s

I’d be willing to bet this is some of the highest quality green tea (or tea in general) that I’ve tasted or purchased. I’m a newbie though so I might have an unusually high score compared to better traveled taste buds. I’m very interested in learning about other, better priced but still high quality versions. I also want to learn more about radiation exposure of the regions from which these matcha are produced. I know this comes from Nishio, and to the best of my knowledge, no increases in radiation have been noted there. Any additional information or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Happy tea tasting ;)

I’m still very new to tea but I appreciate the accessibility of this tea as well as its pleasant taste and relatively easy brewing to achieve said taste.

I agree with a previous poster who said that the pomegranate was pretty strong. Oherwise I think it’s a good tea.

Kind of taste like woodshiner, but good !

I’ll amend this by saying it was my only option at the time and… it was probably not the best tea. At least for me :s

New nurse looking to improve knowledge of/exposure to tea for self and others. Doing Steepster Select! I seem to enjoy green teas the most right now: the vegetal quality is very appealing. I started with matcha (I need to try a better whisk) and really liked the taste! I like sencha plenty and gyokuro even more! Hoping to learn more though and develop some new likes!
