drank Assam by GEPA
640 tasting notes

Had originally meant to brew the Assam Tonga this morning, but realized I must have run out. Well, this worked too, it wasn’t too weak this time – though I used a lot of leaf, three heaped teaspoons, and “heaped” is an understatement for the first two – the leaf was hanging over on the sides, and the “heap” was about as high as the spoon was wide.(When I said that I underleafed “this time” in my previous tasting note, I did not mean that I had overleafed this tea before, but that I had recently overleafed on several other teas before the last time I had this.)
Like most breakfast teas, it works with real milk or oat milk(or presumably soymilk, too).

Bio

Have been drinking tea for over 15 years now(and rooibos for over 20).
I like almost all unflavoured teas(though I still haven’t really figured out Pu-Erh) and also some flavored ones.
I especially love Oolongs, and I’m always interested in anything “exotic”, like teas from less known regions, or greens/whites/oolongs from those regions usually only known for black teas.
