My favorite tea from David’s tea. To me it’s slightly spicy, slightly fruity, creamy and all almond/cherry flavoring goodness. I always drink it with almond milk.

Flavors: Almond, Cherry, Spicy

Smells very medicinal dry, like lemon cough drops. Steeped it smells like straight lemon, it tastes like cough drops, very meh.

Flavors: Lemon, Medicinal

Just delicious, it’s easy for me to drink a whole pot of this tea in one sitting (and I’m overly sensitive to caffeine). I don’t like black tea much but this is one of my favorites, by far.

Flavors: Bergamot, Caramel, Smooth, Vanilla

First smell is dusty leaves with slight caramel scent. I steeped 2 bags to a huge cup with some almond milk and sugar. It smells like caramel steeped but tastes bitter and overly strong. I didn’t much like this tea.

Smells like fresh lemons. Very good, not sour, clean lemon flavor. Not too sweet like lemonade.

White Antlers

I never knew what a Meyer lemon was until I moved to California where almost every other person has a dwarf tree in their yard. They are beautiful, thick skinned bright yellow orbs of citrus. Since they are delicate and don’t travel well, you rarely see them in the markets. They’re a cross between a lemon and a mandarin orange and lack the sourness of the oridinary lemon. They are highly fragrant and provide a gentler citrus kiss in food and drink. Back home in Philadelphia, I am cultivating a baby Meyer in my sun room. It is too young to bear fruit yet but the scent of the blossoms is blissful.

I used to drink this tea every night before bed and loved it, it was my favorite when I was a teenager. It’s too weak and bleh for me now.

I think this tastes a lot more like a spice/cinnamon tea than a chai but it is really good and strong which I like. No sugar needed. I’ve added honey to it for my husband and it was sickeningly sweet.

Flavors: Cinnamon

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 4 min, 30 sec
