Maple blueberry black tea for a nostalgic taste of dining at a Disney parks character meal. Made to taste like a sweet toasty mickey waffle with berry compote.
Tasting Notes: waffles | maple | berry
Meeting the characters at the theme parks is such a special experience but nothing beats the core memory of eating mickey waffles while at your first character breakfast. Sweet maple syrup and buttery crisp waffles perfectly pair with the warmth of Mickey’s charming smile, the sweetness of Minnie’s kiss, and the smooth dance moves of Goofy and Donald.
To capture the taste of that magical experience we have combined maple with a juicy sweet side of blueberry compote. Black tea and rooibos provide the balanced nutty toasty waffle taste. Makes an excellent smooth breakfast tea to pair with waffles or sip it solo and soak up the nostalgic Disney aromas.
My personal favorite character breakfast experience was with my younger brother in the ’90s at the Plaza Inn in Disneyland. The restaurant was pretty empty and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum had so much fun making him laugh and laugh. At the time he was about 2 years old and he just adored seeing the characters come up to him.
We also just took our little one to his first character breakfast at WDW at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort. He was awake until Mom had to get up and go to the buffet. He cried for a minute and Goofy helped him drift to sleep through the entire meal.
Pour a cup of this tea and think back on your favorite character meal experiences! The perfect conversation starter to share with friends.
