Description

Grown on the slopes of Phoenix Mountain in Guangdong province, southern China, this Dan Cong (single trunk) oolong r has large thin curly leaves. Harvested only in the afternoon, avoiding bright sun and rainy days, the leaves are mid-oxidized to produce a rich tea with fruity and floral overtones. Hints of gardenia and tropical fruit balance with the tastes of honey and toasted nuts. Famous in China for its delicate elegant aromatics and sweet tastes, this tea leaves such a pleasant lingering taste that you can never forget it.

Brewing Suggestions:
Use between 3-5 grams of tea, about a heaping teaspoon. Pour water between 175° – 195° over the leaves and steep for 2 minutes. Always remember to adjust steeping time depending on water temperature, amount of tea you have and personal flavor preference. Increase time and temperature slightly with each infusion.
