From Tea Gallery

One of our favorite teas from Phoenix Mountain. There’s an abundance of lychee fruit in the heady aroma. The natural sweetness spreads throughout the mouth and harmonizes with the slight bitter edge. Notes of wild honey, orchids and almonds spread themselves generously on the palate. A soft perfume welcomed us at the bottom of our cups.
Never cloying and delicately balanced. A well made cup can deliver a beautiful bouquet of fruits and flowers. A yearly favorite of ours for it’s easy going nature, budget friendly price and delightful taste. A light roast means a little more care and attention when brewing but also very sweet and satisfying rewards.

Very light, nectar-like flavor. Soft florals and an ever so subtle roast. The aroma from the gaiwan lid on the first short steep almost made me fall down. It was so pretty.

There is a very silky mouthfeel and delicate aftertaste. Honeysuckle flower hui gan. All in all, a very elegant and special tea.
