I can taste the plantain the most, and that combined with the coconut smell is lovely. I’d love to have this iced with rum in the summer, I think it would make an excellent cocktail.
Very banana. I think I can see some coconut. Maybe. But I don’t think I like banana in my tea. Or banana flavoring in general. But I do like bananas. I think banana flavoring doesn’t actually taste like banana, but this flavor is closer than most. But not a fan, though for what it is (banana tea), it is relatively good.
A very smooth cup. Dry, this smells mostly dusty, but after steeping the cup is fragrant, smelling of both banana (plantain) and coconut. It’s very smooth. I just wish the flavor was stronger. Your results may vary, but I thought it the coconut flavor was stronger than the banana.
And it’s smooooth.
The first green rooibos I’ve tried…didn’t actually know such a thing existed. The rooibos itself was very light. In fact, the first thing I both smelled and tasted was the plantain (which tasted like a more natural banana flavor). I personally couldn’t taste any coconut really, but my co-worker said she could. I will absolutely be trying more of their green rooibos flavors after this!
